Well that's my veggies taken care of and some needed supplies gathered up from the supermarket so it's time to get that mower cranked up again to see if I can get that backyard of mine finished before it gets too hot, or I run out of fuel as the temp is now a muggy 22C.

Cheers.

80mins, a tank of fuel and 11 catcher loads latter I've got about 19/20ths of the backyard done now leaving that small part of the backyard, my side of the laneway and my little front yard let to do tomorrow.

Time now to cool down inside my wind tunnel with a few beers.

Cheers.

Chains are required here and in the mountain passes. We had between 4-10 inches. I think I had about 6 where I live. That's what my balcony looks like.

We reached 28C (felt like 25C) today and as the sun is about to set it's down to 23C (feels like 22C) with 15C expected in the morning.

Well the old mower is ready to go again and finish the taming of the yard in the morning.

Cheers.

Clear and cold. It's 22F (-6c) and expected to warm up to 34F (2c) . Not good driving conditions. There was some snow melt early yesterday then more snow covered it. The result is ice covered by fresh snow. It reminded me of the Paul Simon song "Slip Sliding Away"

Anyhow it's coffee time.

It's time for several I reckon Mike after 90mins, another tank of fuel and 7 catcher loads I've finally got my yard tamed. I'll give it the full manicure treatment is a few days time.

Time now to get some more pills from the chemist before enjoying those said beers.

Cheers.

We reached 26C (felt like 23C) here today and with the next 2 days expected to be wet here I'll be able to catch up on some delayed domestics duties while I tamed the yard.

Anyhow it's now down to 19C (feels like 15C) and I should start thinking about dinner.

Cheers.

It's 1 c (33f) and snow is expected in about 2 hours. The predicted high is 5 c (41f). I am glad I don't have to drive anywhere. The roads are covered with ice.

Anyhow it's time for a coffee.

Thar may well be strange monstrous monsters here...

Back in the Food Desert and this place really is an alternate reality! Unbelievable.

Upon walking in... This time round has been one of the more surreal status updates...

Hopefully across tomorrow, I can somehow get various disparate parts all working on the same one calendar and synchronised on the same (actual) day of the week!

Just settling down here to watch the cricket test match as the temp gets to an overcast and muggy 24C.

Cheers.

Don’t overload breakers. To many power draws will be a problem.

We made it to a steamy 26C (felt like 27C) today before the skies opened up and Thor put on a light'n'sound show for us, but as lite rain continues to fall I'm on the edge of falling into bed.

Cheers.

The last time I fell out of bed I was off the coast of Costa Rica in 40-knot winds and 20-foot seas. That was fun.
