A grey, cool morning. After yesterday's storm, it is now completely calm. But it is getting colder again...

Phew... What a week, and into darkness yet again...

... And we've been using too much electricity... Mmmm...

At least we're enjoying relatively mild weather despite a harsh overnight frost.

Meanwhile, despite my best efforts, I'm suffering a little for the abysmal food over here, and from not being able to settle into anything like a steady routine... Then again, here, there ain't any "routine"! All in a very wearying worn out weary area.

'Twil be good to make my escape back to Civilization tomorrow, hopefully. If only briefly!

Winning on a Saturday morning where we got off to an overcast 16C with 22C being today's target as we continue to wait for this weather to arrive at these heights.

Cheers.

Well I've done enough wandering around and getting things done before any rain hits today and my wounded leg is letting me know about so it's time to relax and put that leg up to stop these damn stitches from pulling.

We're now up to an overcast and muggy 21C as plenty of rain still continues to run down along either side of this range while all we get is a few lite sprinkles occasionally which don't amount to much.

I'm just tossing up now on whether I'll get my 3rd coffee for the morning in or start on a LLB.

Cheers.

Yep, we've got freezin' water out there...

Here's hoping my relief turns up later this damp morning!

Meanwhile, is this time for breakfast, supper, or whatever??!!!

We made it to 22C (felt like 23C) here before the wet weather hit and my internet went down, but for how long I keep the connection is questionable.

Cheers.

Winning on a Sunday morning where we got off to a foggy 16C (felt like 17C) start with 26C being expected before wetness descends again.

Time for a coffee.

Cheers.

After 34mm fell here and after a yard inspection I found that another tyre needed to be added to 1 of my potato stacks which wound up being a muddy job followed by pulling some weeds out before just completing 1 wicking tub and we're now up to 22C (feels like 21C).

Anyhow after being up for over 7hrs now I reckon that it's time for a Sunday LLB before more wet stuff moves back in.

Cheers.

I understand about the drop and run tactics of Fled-Ex and UPS. Usually I get the silent service drop off. They sneak up to the front door drop the package and run. They don’t try to let you know that a package has been delivered. Even though I’m just 4 feet from the door waiting for it.

20F and freezing fog. There is ice on everything outside.
My daughter just got a job with Amazon delivery. They are taught to cut seconds. Yes drop the package, run red lights, speed, don't buckle seatbelt. If you don't meet the quota you are fired. It's all about getting the work done.

Back then there was a possibility of bribing the man with the axe. But no argument was to be held with the guillotine.

Winning on a clear Monday morning where we got off to a 13C (felt like 14C) start with 28C being expected while there's a chance showers and a possible thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening.

Anyhow it's time to turn the kettle on.

Cheers.

Clear and -1C. It looks like a nice fall day looking out the window. But if you open the door you get a reminder that it's winter.

It's slow going on my wicking tubs, but I do have 1 completely finished with a 2nd on the way, as it's now 27C downstairs where the construction is happening (where the use of a paint stripping heat gun, on low, to make the builders plastic more pliable) or outside in the sun adding the guru mix to the 1st where it's 25C (feels like 26C) in the shade.

Anyhow I'm going to have a quick cool down beer break upstairs here where it's a very nice 20C (feels like 17C) ATM with heat locked out and the box fan causing a gale.

Cheers.

I'm over in Civilisation, at least for the start of the week... Very much enjoying the more civilised aspects!

Meanwhile, new equipment has been installed... Unfortunately, there's already a hiccup with the burocracy before we can start using it...

So, the question comes... Where am I going to be when needed to start the new operations? Plans are there to get broken?...

Meanwhile in the winter darkness, this weather is weirdly mild...

Winning on a Tuesday morning as a glow begins in the east where it's currently 17C with 26C expected before showers and thunderstorms arrive.

Anyhow it's time for a coffee.

Cheers.
