Thank you, Admiral. I was not expecting the win this soon.
So far I am safe and dry. The road to work from my island is only 1 foot above the water right now. I was talking to my supervisor and she suggested I sail to work. That would be possible but with 50-mile-an-hour winds, I don't think so.

The following are the Rules:
-------------
1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post about these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, the old winner posts a declaration of the new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.)
6. No double posts. Violators buy drinks or a meal for the house in Rocky's.
7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post)
8. Any new rules apply after due consideration and notice.

Don`t forget to have fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the win Carlos.

After a busy morning here getting a lot of things done before the heat set in and then a couple of beers with a few mates I guess that I better get the clothes in off the line before they bake stiff.

We have reached 27C (feels like 25C) here and we may get to the 28C max that was forecasted as yet.

Cheers.

Congrats Carlos on staying dry.

Nearest (to me) official rain gauge shows the last 24 hours 4.39 inches or 1/4 season average total rainfall!

Seems it never rains in southern California

If you are wondering, the drought is not over.
According to the National Weather Service, Shasta Lake is currently at 41% of capacity or 67% of the average storage for the date. Oroville is at 46% of capacity or 85% of average storage for the date. Folsom is currently at 42% of capacity or 100% of the average storage for this date.

Posting very early on a Thorsday morning as I take a coffee break from getting the brewroom ready for some action before the sun comes up and the summer heat returns.

Cheers.

I was watching the early morning news. The resovores are low. But one in particular is getting more than the lions share. All drainage goes out to the ocean.

After a sweaty couple of hours in my brewroom I (and the beer bottles) can finally cool down and have a coffee break before rinsing all those bottles out ready for the next step in the process.

Cheers.

Congrats Carlos.

Yep. We have lots of water here... All falling from the sky...

Certainly not suitable for sailing!

Not too good for the worms either...

Posting while taking a quick break before I fill & cap a lot of beer bottles.

It's already 22C outside with 28C expected before showers and storms turn up. 20C inside.

Cheers.

My beer bottling is all done and the kit has been scrubbed out and is ready for another brew to go into tomorrow morning.

The temp here has reached 25C (feels like 23C), 22C inside, as the clouds begin to gather.

Cheers.

All good fun!?

We only managed 27C (felt like 26C) here before watching what was building up overhead head to the west to dump its load and with just a bit over an hour of daylight to go the temp is down to 22C (feels like 20C).

Cheers.

The blustery winds have hit... The temperature is wobbling... And...

No let-up in sight on the forecast...

And we're back into darkness all so soon already.
