The following are the Rules:

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post about these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, the old winner posts a declaration of the new winner and also PMs them.

Happy day after Christmas, Cloudy 41f in northern California. We have a high of 58 expected and rain this evening. The grey is really starting to drag on. What happened to our sunshine?

Finally have my stepmom in physiotherapy again. She’s not strong enough to get out of the floor if she stumbles and soft falls. My dad and brother don’t want to hurt her getting her off the floor. And calling emergency services just to get her in a chair is adding up. I don’t really want to think of the mental ground she has lost. She has a deceased daughter and she knows she’s gone. But the nickname her daughter went under is still alive. This is just one of a few I am a where of. I’m hoping it is medication related and not mental decline.

Edit: Called my brother for a update a few minutes ago. She has been transferred to hospital for pneumonia. My stepmom is on 25liters of Oxygen.
I’m thinking Holy bloody &$)$&:!!! And a few choice words for us across the pond.
It would explain why she was not mentally together with it. Not enough oxygen to the brain. I durn well hope no damage has been done.

Anyhow I'm just getting my last coffee break in for the morning in after checking on my veggies, putting the 3rd tyre onto both of my potato stacks (to protect them again from the gale that's blowing mostly ATM), but it won't be long before I'll have fill those up too as the plants are powering along, did some weeding of the old veggie garden and ran out a charge on my rechargeable line trimmer so I now have 90mins to kill while that recharges.

Posting on a cool Hump Day morning down under.

Tis a foul and gloomy day. The winds howl and raindrops they are a pelting. The mast sways and lines strain to keep the boat steady.
I love the rain. But need to go shopping soon.

No pneumonia here, but then I've had my ounce of prevention. I'm taking care of a boxer, 2 house panthers, and 1 house tiger. The boxer and the tiger are a friends and are here cause her landlord says No Pets.

I like grey, it's nice outside at 66F and grey out there...

I'm working on a swivel tv stand w/a built in power strip for a tv by myself, the bottom part is complete(though one plastic part that had been preinstalled had broken last night and ejected itself into the dry cat food and on the kitchen counter, weird), the top part that attaches to the back of the 55" Vizio V555-J01 TV with a tip strap has been completed and is ready to attach to the tv, then to unite the two parts and tape the cardboard screen protector in front of the screen while I wait for help in moving the tv to my bedroom. The boxer(a dawg) has been getting his slobber on the screen and that means I need to buy a screen cleaner too...

It's a little windy here, but sunny, as I enjoy my 2nd coffee break for the morning before I go out and mow my yard. The temp here is now up to 17C (feels like 15C), from the 12C (felt like 10C) start we had, with 24C being expected today.
