Return the U.S. to the dark ages of the Puritans. That's a good idea, should go down well. With Thanksgiving your only religious festival. Christmas or all other religious holidays, banned, and are just normal working days. |

Return the U.S. to the dark ages of the Puritans. It seems to have been overlooked that the Puritans were exceedingly intolerant of even other Christian denominations. Quakers, Baptists and Catholics were not welcome to the extreme of executions of those who wouldn't convert or leave. Good luck on those advocating for a "national church" agreeing on which one it will end up being. They'll have to rediscover for themselves the hundreds of years of religious wars in Europe that motivated the U.S. to be the first nation in history which did not have a state church and whose only constitutional reference to religion was exclusionary. |

I find this very applicable here. Hideto Ted Osanai wrote: “Japan’s conformist culture makes it difficult for some people to live freely, and they put great pressure on themselves. When they blame themselves, they turn to suicide. When they blame others, they turn to indiscriminate crimes,” he said. |

It seems to have been overlooked that the Puritans were exceedingly intolerant of even other Christian denominations. By some, apparently. Not all. The strife in Europe just followed people over across the pond. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

Is that rebel supreme court going to allow RINO's the power for extreme partisan gerrymandering next? The Most Important SCOTUS Case No One’s Talking About. We need to talk about Moore v. Harper.Your so called "freedoms" are under even more threat by those who don't want you to have them. |

Yes, I have said for many years, that the U.S or rather D.S (Divided States), will go the same route as the Roman Empire. My personal predictions for the next few years given the current trajectory: 1) Moore v. Harper will be decided for the state/Moore. This will give the states powers to throw out presidential election results that the state governments disagree with (specifically of course if the winner is the "wrong" party) I think this one is a given as the court's radicals already indicated as such in an earlier dissent 1.5) Corollary to the above, a number of the redder states will gerrymander their districts to prevent the "wrong party" from being elected to Congress in future elections. There may be some "blue state" backlash where the same is done 2) Obergefell v. Hodges will be overturned ASAP ie in the next session; same-sex marriage will no longer be a universal right and states will be able to deny and annul marriages 3) Lawrence v. Texas will be overturned; individual states will be able to criminalize sexual acts between consenting adults even in the privacy of their own homes. This one is also possibly a given as its precedent of individual privacy was Roe v. Wade which is already overturned 4) Griswold v. Connecticut will be overturned; individual states will be able to ban and/or restrict contraceptives 5) In the 2024 presidential election, at least one state will follow Moore v. Harper and throw out their results citing unverified claims of election fraud, and substitute state-appointed electors of the "correct" party, which may be enough to change the results of the election 6) Throughout this, the Democratic party will do little or nothing, not wanting to offend their "across the aisle" connections they imagine to exist. The SCOTUS "justices" who lied under oath or actively abetted sedition will not be impeached. The court will not be expanded to 13 justices to match the 12+1 chief federal court districts. No bills will be passed to reform election integrity or increase the punishments for interfering with a federal election 7) A major state, most possibly California or New York, will begin formal secession proceedings to withdraw from the Union We'll see how many of these pan out. Still holding out hope for "none". Willing to be pleasantly surprised. |

I agree with Mr Kevvy, having had the misfortune to see a video by an "alt -right" presenter celebrating the overturning of Roe v Wade, he then went on to list what would be coming and they were all the things on Mr Kevvy's list. However he added one chilling line "Our ultimate goal is The Handmaidens Tale" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Handmaid%27s_Tale_(TV_series) |

Hadn't realized how many were incels. If they weren't already, adopting that set of ideals and objectives will just about guarantee it. However he added one chilling line "Our ultimate goal is The Handmaidens Tale" Egads... again we see satire becoming reality. So much for "The Handmaid's Tale" is not a how-to manual. Appears it now is. |

In an attempt to head off a moronic SCOTUS decision and protect peoples' rights of freedom brings Pressure on Senate GOP after same-sex marriage passes House. Will they prove to themselves to have some proper morals or will they resort to loony religious extremism? |

Well Clarence did say, Supreme Court should strike down same-sex marriage and contraceptive rights next, and it looks like the RINO's and religious nutters are working on it. “They’re coming for contraception”: 195 Republicans vote against right to birth control, condoms. The GOP and SCOTUS are certainly becoming the home of crooks and all sorts of nutters while working against all so called "freedoms". |

I think a 3rd Snake Plissken film should be made. "Escape from America". |

And yet another morally poor judgement is delivered. The Supreme Court just let a Trump judge seize control of ICE, at least for now. |
