Hubris
a senior officer who reviewed the intelligence considered the danger of a massive surprise attack by Hamas across the Gaza border to be “an imaginary scenario”

Or was it intentional?

And the slaughter of innocents continues on. :-(

Israel intensifies its assault on southern Gaza, causing renewed concern about civilian deaths.

While the constant atrocities on the West Bank being carried out by Israel are being totally ignored by most main stream news media. Why?

The daily, grinding violence in the West Bank is worse than ever before. Why does it go unseen?

... Palestinians are increasingly refocusing our efforts to resist the root cause of this violence – settler colonialism – as the means to liberate us all.

I'm sure we can all agree that is only one part of much wider and extreme politics across that area and beyond...

How do we persuade the gods of the situation on all sides to encourage cooperation, mutual respect, and peace not war?

Be excellent to all!

They are 100% compatible. Does it matter is the palms face up or down? Does it matter what day of the week? Does it matter if there is a icon on the cross or not? All of this is minuscule meaningless trivia but they kill over it. How about enforcing the words on the stone tablet. No Kill I.

Bleeping hypocrites. Toss them in a hermetically sealed container than the walls get smaller all the time.

Benji is going to escalate his government's atrocities to a new "Hitler" level now as his grip on power slips further away.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is fighting to maintain the power of balance in government - and it has dire implications for the future of Gaza.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is fighting for survival. Not Israel’s. But his own. And that has dire implications for the future of the Gaza Strip.

His National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir this week threatened to “tear down” the far-right coalition government if Netanyahu did not immediately restart its assault on the Palestinian enclave.

Ben-Gvir’s ultra-Orthodox Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party voted against the temporary truce that has resulted in the release of 97 hostages so far. And it continues to argue the highest possible priority should be the total destruction of Hamas and everything affiliated with the terror organisation.

But Netanyahu has a problem.

His Likud Party needed to form a unity government with the opposition – Benny Gantz’s centrist right National Unity – to bring stability and military experience into his emergency administration.

But a new poll shows 73 per cent of Israeli voters disapprove of the Prime Minister’s performance since the October 7 rampage by Hamas across southern Israel.

That means Netanyahu needs to be seen as winning.

And that likely means more of the same.

Bombing. Shooting. Forced evictions.

Just a lot more of it.......
Israel-Gaza war: Israel bombards crowded southern Gaza as Netanyahu withdraws negotiators from Qatar.

More total innocents are going to be murdered. :-(

... More total innocents are going to be murdered...

Yes.

Trapped and lost in amongst the 30,000 or so fighters that are the indoctrinated Hamas (and other factions).

Meanwhile in the deadly world of reality, the rocket fire continues, right from in amongst their very own Women, Children, Babies... All their very own people:

Read, see:

UK launches surveillance flights to find Hamas hostages
wrote:
Rockets streak into the sky from Gaza towards Israel...

... Five British nationals are missing and the UK government has not said how many could be held by Hamas...

... More than 130 captives are thought to be in Gaza...

Analysis, "what next?", summary:

Despite Israel pulling out of talks, negotiations 'likely' to continue

And for one small part of the reality of Hamas:

What do we know about Gaza's al Shifa hospital?

And Israel is opportunistically getting kicked from all sides, and people die:

(Best is to mute the sound for this slideshow)
Rockets Fired At Israel From Syria | Hamas “Kills” 60 Israeli Soldiers | Explosion Near Yemen Coast

There is a curious repeat of the number "60"... Is Hamas making deadly claims for the sake of the "An Eye for an Eye..." stupidity of vengeance for forever perpetuating a never-ending conflict?

Reminds me of the indigenous struggles against the oppressive European invaders. They have no other option as to where to stage as they are already surrounded.

While Stalag Gaza and Stalag West Bank grow smaller and smaller by the day as the oppressors continue with their ethnic cleansing. You can kill a lot more innocents when you jam them into smaller spaces.

It's just a repeat of Hitler's plan being performed by wannabe dictator Benji and his murderous far right greedy mob of wannabe Nazis. There is no difference between what happened back in the 1930-40's and what's happening now other than the roles being changed.

Even blind Freddy can see that.

Except...

There is a completely different world of difference, that is far removed from the hate-inducing descriptions being used. Hate-speak does not work.

And I wouldn't call "Hamas" to be ethnic. Terrorists, yes.

And also, how do we untangle the corrupt sponsorship from Iran, Qatar, and Russia?...

Peace is a far better way to progress.

And note how 20% of the Palestinians were at peace with Israel, and prospered with Israel. Note that they live in the areas that prosper that is Israel.

Instead of making war. Make peace for the good of all?

How did that not come to pass...

All in the most holy of lands.

And the senseless violence spreads as the stupidity continues on. :-(

There’s been a frightening development in the Middle East during the Israel-Hamas war as a US warship came under attack in the Red Sea.

A US warship and multiple commercial vessels were attacked in the Red Sea on Sunday, the Pentagon said — a frightening development ratcheting up maritime tensions in the Middle East during the Israel-Hamas war.

The USS Carney — which previously shot down missiles and drones aimed at it as it escorted a commercial vessel through the war-torn region — was targeted along with at least two other commercial ships starting around 10am local time in an assault that lasted about five hours, the Pentagon and an unnamed US official said, according to The Associated Press.

It was not immediately clear whether the American warship was struck.

An update is expected soon from the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).........

Benji's side has come with another reason to fuel support for their ongoing genocidal way and for blatant murder.

Israel has levelled shocking allegations of sexual violence against Hamas. Here's what we know.

As Israeli war crimes continue to rise with incidents like these becoming more frequent.

Video shows man in military fatigues shooting mentally disabled Palestinian in West Bank.

And so out of control that they even shoot their own.

An Israeli civilian raced to confront Palestinian attackers. He was then killed by an Israeli soldier.

Meanwhile the criminal "Settlers" are still invading and destroying properties on the West Bank.

Israeli settler violence brings destruction and fear to West Bank as war rages.

Though the U.S. has finally drawn a lite line.

US sanctions individuals implicated in West Bank attacks.

But it's nowhere near enough to stop this continuing slaughter of innocents and is causing more unsettlement in the region.

U.S. 'losing a tremendous amount of credibility in the Arab world,' ex-Egyptian minister says.

It's time that this fire was finally put out for good and that time is now which must include Benji, his government and the Israeli army as well as those "settlers" being pulled up before International Criminal Court for all their crimes and the U.N. take over full control of the whole area until a full 2 state solution is put in place and peacefully functioning (if ever). Demilitarising the whole region would also be a good idea.

So, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah do not need to be pulled up before the ICC? Agreed, there is no point in negotiating with terrorists or holding them legally accountable.

The U.N. "taking over full control" would show the same result as in 1992, when UNPROFOR (U.N. protection force) took control of the so-called "international U.N. protection zones" in the besieged cities of Sarajevo, Bihac, Gorazde, Tuzla and Zepa in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The reality of evil and violence demonstrated what the UN already was back then: incapable of action; incapable to protect civilians. The evil then massacred more than 6,000 Muslim Bosnians who were under the protection of UNPROFOR troops. At that time, the U.N. forever lost all credibility in protecting a civilian population in a war or military conflict. Only a military unit under a military command with the authority to act and provided with a sufficient number of heavy weapons can do this. NATO's Stabilization Force (SFOR) ended cruelties in Bosnia, not the U.N. Which of the many concerned UN states is prepared to send such a military detachment to Gaza now? Which UN state agrees to bear responsibility for Gaza as an occupying power until a lasting peace was agreed upon? An Arab state? An Arab coalition? Deafening silence... No one. This is the UN: superfluous.

It was probably the withdrawal, 16 May – 17 June 1967, of UN peacekeepers from the Egypt Israeli border that caused the present day problems.

I have to disagree vigorously. Nothing ever before or afterwards enabled such a high throughput of mass murder as the Thuringian cremation ovens at Auschwitz. Any equation of current or previous acts of violence trivializes the murder of millions of Jews in Auschwitz, Sobibor, Treblinka, ...

You may disagree, but Benji and his right wing morons actually created what happened on Oct.7 though years of abuse that the west let them get away with without repercussions.

Also remember that there were 4-5 other groups involved on Oct.7 and not just Hamas, but Israeli policies brought them all together for all the injustices being carried out on innocent Palestinians.

Israel reckons that 30% of those Palestinians killed were terrorists while several U.N. org.s say that 70% of those killed are women and children so it seems that Israel reckon that all killed males are terrorists which is total B.S..

Terrorists certainly must be brought to justice and a great deal of the world now also agree that the Israeli government is no different to those terrorists and Gaza is nothing more than a modern concentration camp being used to eliminate innocent Palestinians.

"Move south and you'll be safe" is not what's going on, it's more like, "move south so that we can kill more of you using less bombs, missiles and shells".

A revealing truth gets exposed and this site isn't the only 1 carrying this story.

Israel spies 'KNEW of Hamas threat to Nova festival hours before attack but did not pass on warning to organisers'.

[edit] Senior UN official denounces 'blatant disregard' in Israel-Hamas war after many UN sites are hit.
