I rated him as an elite BHL.
His demands that wealth be distributed more, all the while hoarding his own.
Typical thoughts of one.

You would've thought that after so many close calls over the years that this fool would've learned. :-O

The Dumbest Details From the Menendez Indictment.

And after plenty of pressure.

Senator Bob Menendez steps down as Senate committee chair after bribery charges.

Some will just have to learn the hard way I guess.

Looks like they have debunked the "Mexican Alien remains story"
The Dumb Alien Mummy Story Takes an Entirely Predictable Turn
A week ago, two bodies believed to be a muddle of human and animal bones were presented in Mexico’s Congress as proof of alien life. Now the scientific community is fighting back.

Frank said the scientists had not gathered to discuss Maussan’s “decades of ridiculous conspiracy claims,” but rather because of where Maussan had delivered his latest outlandish claims. Maussan’s appearance in Mexico’s Congress had, Frank argued, “turned the world upside down” and made scientific rationality in Mexico the subject of ridicule. “What is at stake here is whether our country will follow science or superstitions and quackery.”

The fallout from the big 4 consulting firms has taken a new twist at a federal and a state level.

An Australian partner at a big four consulting firm has stood down from his role while the corporate watchdog carries out a “confidential” investigation.

I wonder if other states will follow suit.

It seems that the younger generations have a big problem with things and what is the difference between this and "manspreading" that they complain about?

A woman has been left “shocked” after sharing a wild dating app message a man sent her – only for hundreds of people to agree with him.

Personally neither need sto be seen in public. Keep your legs crossed everyone as no 1 needs to see what hair do you're wearing (or not wearing) or what your last meal was either. ;-)

Well this is an unexpected turn:

To paraphrase someone "A Party that fights itself will fall", as an outsider this is looking as if the Republican party is fighting itself into oblivion.

Young Luke has been caught out as the PwC sags continues and could be found in contempt of the Senate.

A damning contradiction during questioning of former PwC boss Luke Sayers means plenty more scrutiny is on the horizon.

Meanwhile it looks like Chevron still doesn't want to play fair with its workers.

Industrial action set to resume at Chevron's Wheatstone and Gorgon LNG facilities.

Our version of Donny has run aground, well his boat literally did.

Australian mining magnate Clive Palmer’s $40M superyacht stranded off Singapore coast.

I wonder if Clive was behind the wheel again.

It's all so very true.

Why it's impossible for right-wing governments to handle a crisis.

Sadly they don't mind creating them.

I hope that he put a bit aside for a rainy day.

ASIC slaps an eight-year ban on former PwC partner Peter Collins.

The man at the centre of the Pricewaterhouse Coopers tax leak scandal has copped a massive blow to his reputation with the country’s financial watchdog blocking him from the world of finance until the 2030s.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission announced on Friday it had formally banned former PwC partner Peter Collins from providing financial services or controlling an entity that carries on a financial services business for eight years.

“For the duration of his ban, Mr Collins cannot provide financial services, control an entity that carries on a financial services business or perform any function involved in the carrying on of a financial services business,” ASIC stated.....

What is in a tradition of a genuine confusion of names?

Why Nigeria’s lax attitude to names is causing a fuss

There has been quite a hullaballoo in Nigeria recently over the fact that the three top candidates in February's presidential elections presented academic records showing different names to those by which they are now known...

Most Nigerians have more than one name apart from their surname. Most people I know have as many as five or six.

In a society where many cultures name a child based on the circumstances of their birth...

All part of an evolution into a more structured world?

Moves are being made here to outlaw the new "asbestos" of our century.

Engineered stone ban needed to protect workers from silicosis, Safe Work Australia report says.

A new report has called for a ban on all engineered stone in Australia, but governments will not make any changes until they decide on a "national response".

Engineered stone, a popular material often used for kitchen benches, has been linked to a surge in incurable lung disease among stonemasons due to its high silica content.

The most common is silicosis, an irreversible lung condition that at its worst can cause premature death.

Safe Work Australia was asked to look at possible solutions to the crisis, but concluded a complete ban was the only option, saying regulators had failed to protect workers from the deadly disease.

"Continued work with engineered stone poses an unacceptable risk to workers," the report said.......

.......Doctors started publicly sounding the alarm about the silicosis "epidemic" back in 2018, telling the ABC it could become the biggest lung disease crisis since asbestos.

Graeme Edwards, an occupational physician and member of the former National Dust Disease Taskforce, believes the government should have announced a national ban today, given the dangers of engineered stone have been known for years.

"Abdicating their responsibility to make that judgement call is tantamount to industrial manslaughter," he said.......

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A new challenge making waves on social media pokes fun at Florida’s reputation for producing strange news stories involving guns, drugs, booze and reptiles — or some combination of the four.

The challenge invites participants to run their birthday and “Florida man” through a search engine to find out which headline pops up. Then they must post the result on social media.

What a way to get people to give up PII on their social media. I smell lots and lots of identity theft coming.
