At the ring of the bell gentlemen, grab your bird cages and come out of your corners swinging.

A very silly little boy.

Jack Teixeira pleads not guilty to federal charges over alleged leak of US defence secrets on Discord.

....In a statement released after the arraignment, Mr Teixeira's family said they were "hopeful Jack will be getting the fair and just treatment he deserves".....
Well he's only made his case worse by that plea.

Wiggo, US justice system is different than what you are used to. Everyone pleads not guilty so that discovery happens. After discovery plea deals are made. Only in limited cases for high profile rich defendants does that negotiation happen before the defendant is arraigned.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is paying a huge price for their profits over ethics in their double dealing tax leak scandal.

PwC appoints new CEO Kevin Burrowes and announces it will sell off government business.

The troubled consultancy firm PwC Australia has appointed a new CEO and confirmed it will sell off its government business as it tries to stem the fallout from a massive tax leak scandal.

The firm has announced Kevin Burrowes, a leader for its global business based in Singapore, will move to Sydney to take over from acting CEO Kristin Stubbins.

PwC is also splitting into two parts, saying it would sell its federal and state government business to private equity firm Allegro Funds for $1.....
And there's still more fallout to come their way

The PwC saga just keeps on getting worse.

PwC's failure to disclose Top Education Group conflict 'completely unacceptable', minister says.

I'm beginning to wonder if PwC will have a future here.

It certainly could go the Arthur Andersen way.

Will PwC's $1 deal save the firm?

No "lab grown meat" for me. I want my steak meat to come from a real moooover with horn's and hoofs.

Besides, they don't know how safe it is or what the "nutrition value" of the lab grown "meat" is yet.
Nutritionist slams new lab-grown meat: ‘I’d rather eat my shoe’
Cell-cultivated meat is expensive, Rodgers pointed out. A pound of cell-cultured meat would cost about $17 to make, compared to $2 for regular meat, according to Bon Appetit.

By the time lab-grown beef gets onto a plate at a restaurant, that could turn into a $100 burger, the publication calculated.

...
“We just don’t know,” Rodgers explained. “I have yet to see a life cycle assessment on the production of it. We don’t have any public data.”

“McDonald’s is still better because the meat is a better option for vitamins,” she added.

Say it isn't so... Publishers Clearing House to pay $18.5 million settlement for deceptive sweepstakes practices
A proposed court order filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York stipulates that the publishing company needs to make substantial changes to how it conducts its sweepstake drawings and entries online. Mostly older and lower-income consumers are lured to the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes by catchy language on the company's website such as: "WIN IT!," or "Win for Life!," an FTC complaint said.

After hopeful customers click on sweepstakes registration links emailed to them by the company, they are directed to several web pages of advertisements for products, including magazine subscriptions, the complaint said. These pages say messages like "$1,000 per week for life AT STAKE!" and "JUST ONE ORDER IS ALL IT TAKES," the news release said.

Consumers interested in entering sweepstakes contests are led to believe "they must order products before they can enter a sweepstake" or that "ordering products increases their odds of winning a sweepstake," the complaint said. One California based-woman thought she won a $5,000 prize, but the company blamed a "technical malfunction" and said that under "official rules" she didn't win and they weren't responsible.

even though I don't agree with several things Modi is doing, but this is most certainly 1 that I do agree with.

Will India embrace the Uniform Civil Code and finally have a single common law for its 1.4 billion citizens?

Within months of being re-elected as prime minister of India in 2019, Narendra Modi's first big announcement was to strip Kashmir of special status.

Exactly a year later, he kicked off construction of an expansive temple at a disputed site that has historically been a flashpoint for religious tensions in the country.

Now as the next federal elections loom in India, Mr Modi appears resolute in fulfilling yet another election promise — the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).

This week, Mr Modi reignited the contentious and long-debated proposal surrounding the UCC, further intensifying the national discourse on this deeply divisive issue.
What is the Uniform Civil Code?

In simple terms, it means a single set of laws for the entire country — irrespective of religion, caste or creed.

Currently, India follows a system where different laws are in place for different religions to regulate matters, such as marriage, divorce, adoption, inheritance based on their respective practices and beliefs.....

Castration should be part of the sentence for these violent sex offending lowlife sickos.

It was bound to happen as the activists and the right of politics rush to put forward referrals to the new corruption commission.

Embattled consultancy PwC among first referred to new national anti-corruption commission.

PwC in damage control, but will it be enough to hold off the wolves?

Eight partners to exit PwC partnership following tax avoidance scandal.

Consultancy firm PwC Australia has announced it will cut ties with eight partners after it was rocked by a tax avoidance scandal.

The professional services partnership launched an investigation into the handling of confidential Treasury information, after one of its partners, Peter Collins, allegedly leaked sensitive and confidential government information.

Mr Collins was the former head of international tax for PwC Australia, and was brought in to help the government design its multinational tax avoidance laws.

He signed three separate confidentiality agreements as part of that process, however it’s been alleged that he later breached that agreement by sharing confidential share information within PwC, with colleagues who were not authorised to receive it, a Tax Practitioners Board inquiry found......

It's a shame the damage done with the wrong people at the top & mismanagement, racism & homophobia causes.
There have been some great individuals from both America & Australia playing in the top leagues over here but lack the support from their own nations.
Will we see the same passion there as that which was seen at the Euros in 2022?

I hope that this lowlife sicko feels the full penetration of the law.

Restaurant workers trying to return a lost cellphone found evidence of a soccer coach raping at least 10 boys, police say.

Full castration wouldn't be enough, but this slime needs it.

[edit] He'll certainly have this to look forward too.

Minimum sentence - castration and removal of digits using rusty razor blades. In prison he might even find that as a little "added bonus", and nobody would ever see who did it to him.
