It looks like PooTin's military are their own worse enemies (other than the Ukrainians that is). LOL

While the Ukraine gets a donation from an unlikely source.

As PooTin's navy retreats from Crimea, well those vessels that can run are anyway.

And which is likely in part due to increasing nighty Ukrainian raids made on the Crimean peninsula.

That 1.1 million bullets is only about 2 days usage. So in real terms, a drop in the bucket.

from Wiggo's post:
Shoigu Snubs Military Commanders Who Refuse to 'Waste' Troops.
Shoigu is a civil engineer, became a party official, later deputy head of the Committee for Architecture and Construction, then Secretary of Emergency Management, and finally Governor of the Moscow District. Then Putin appointed him as Secretary of Defense because of his loyalty and personal friendship. He is the first Russian SecDef who didn't had a military career, although he wears uniform and officially holds the rank of "Army General" (four star general). Military commanders certainly fear him, but don't respect him. It is fatal for every Russian front-line soldier to be senselessly rushed to their death under such incompetent and clueless “leaders”. When will this madness end?

[EDIT]: ...and what some pointed out: Shoigu is not Russian, but Tuvan (central Asian minority). In racist Russia he would have no chance of becoming president; no threat to Putin's power.

[EDIT2:] No peoples of Russia have higher mobilization (and death) rates in the war than the Central Asian Tuvans and Buryats. Shoigu is burning his own people. , whose numbers are already in decline, like the population of all non-Russian peoples in the Russian Federation. A Tuvanian supports the repression and extermination of non-Russians that has been going on for centuries. It couldn't be more perverted.

PooTin may have lost another couple of his Black Sea fleet in the last few days.

Incredible.

Putin demands more babies for nurturing into "Disposables":

... A MAJOR CATASTROPHE FOR RUSSIANS...

If you can untangle all that Russian verbal diarrhea...

The translation is that Putin demands a "new psychology" to coerce teenagers to become baby-making machines for Putin's machine.

Desperately sad. Note that no one in that meeting is smiling...

Is there a way out?

All in our deadly political world...

Amazing how Ukraine appears to have been forgotten by the world's news media in the media frenzy of the greater sensationalism to be found in the Middle-East...

Meanwhile, there is the very strong connection of the "axis" of Putin and Iran/Hamas/Hezbollah...

And one notable detail is that Putin is playing a deadly game of attrition, being as he considers that he has the greater population and so has the more people under his control to kill as "Expendables".

A second detail is that in that war of attrition, there is now a world shortage of ammunition to continue that killing of people...

And... The USA moved stockpiles of ammunition from Israel to keep the Ukraine defense supplied against Putin.

Is Putin playing a deadly game here of Expendables in the hope that he can contrive for the West to run out of ammunition so that the last of his Expendables can eventually "walk in" to eradicate Ukraine?

All in the very deadly politics of old.

Really?

How so??

Note how Putin has supplied weapons to Hamas/Hezbollah, and provided training to them via Wagner, and has everything to gain by such a 'distraction'...

Note also how Putin has "weaponized" the use of coerced/forced migration...

And for Putin, real world people are considered to be "Expendables" to be used as mere pawns in his deadly 'games'.

Meanwhile, there is the very strong connection of the "axis" of Putin and Iran/Hamas/Hezbollah...
A strange development. Putin was part of the western coalition fighting ISIS, which could have easily inflamed the southern, islamic autonomous republics Dagestan, Chechnia within the Russian Federation. Until recently Israel get approval from Russia for airstrikes on Shia militias in Syria. Then Iran, the ultimate enemy of Israel.... Since 1991 hundreds of thousand Jewish Russians emigrated to Israel. They now represent ONE FIFTH of Israels population. Russian Jews noticeably changed Israel's society. So many personal relationships; contacts between these two countries. So many planes fly between Tel Aviv and Moscow every day. Israel is a source of high tech. You can't ruin something like that. What can Russia get from Iran or Gaza in the long run? I can't believe Putin supports Hamas for the only benefit to create a distraction from Ukraine. Crazy.

And one notable detail is that Putin is playing a deadly game of attrition, being as he considers that he has the greater population and so has the more people under his control to kill as "Expendables".
I posted it elsewhere, please look into Russia's demographics. There was a collapse of birth rates after 1990 (in all states of the Eastern Bloc). Reproduction rate decreased again over the last eight years of Putin's reign. Too few Russian children. It's no good idea to burn 18 years old conscripts then. But there still are sufficient non-Russian Buryats, Tuvinians. These central asian minorities in southern Siberia have many children. They have so many children while many Russians left that they changed majority population in these distant Russian republics in recent decades. Never forget: Russia is a racist society. Kyrgyz or Kazakh immigrants are often cheap workers disdained by nationalist Russians because of their Asian appearance. A dangerous game. Times quickly come when the former Mongolian peoples in Tuva or Buryatia no longer want to belong to Russia for precisely this reason. China isn't far away. I see Xi already grinning... all the time.

A second detail is that in that war of attrition, there is now a world shortage of ammunition to continue that killing of people...

And... The USA moved stockpiles of ammunition from Israel to keep the Ukraine defense supplied against Putin.
I don't know about the US, only about Europe. It's our fault that we have almost completely dismantled our ammunition factories after the Cold War ends. The Russians did not as well as its gigantic Soviet stocks. We should have changed that almost two years ago. Peace isn't ensured by abolishing tanks and ammunition factories. Downgrading military capacities has to observe the balance of power (production capacities and stocks) of potential enemies. Somehow, we forget about this simple truth somewhen in the 1990s. We should change that, immediately.

Is Putin playing a deadly game here of Expendables in the hope that he can contrive for the West to run out of ammunition so that the last of his Expendables can eventually "walk in" to eradicate Ukraine?
I think, Russia's FSB observed Europe's crazy demilitarization over 20 years. We disposed off ammunition and armaments instead of storing them. Have we thereby encouraged Russia to adopt aggressive policies? Admitting the truth can be painful for peace-loving European politicians. Russia even risked attacks on remaining stocks of old Soviet ammunitions in now NATO countries, like 2014 in in Czech republic.

Has Ukraine been so completely forgotten in the news?

Here's one little vignette sadly for a new Expendable:

Xolidayboy: Russian TikTok star collapses on stage after draft notice
wrote:
A Russian TikTok star appeared to collapse on stage after being handed a summons to join the army...

... Ms Mizulina [the head of the Safe Internet League, Russia's internet censorship body] has criticised and threatened various other Russian celebrities and bloggers accused of anti-war views. She had previously called for another TikToker, Danila Milokhin, to be conscripted into the army because of allegedly "Russophobic statements," reportedly causing him to flee the country...

Hmm, I meant the, military power balance in Europe in the years after the Cold War. It tipped in Russia's direction. For a long time, the West had a bad conscience, and Germany in particular a protective instinct, towards the humiliated, crumbling USSR empire and its successor Russia. We ignored their military obsession. I have no numbers, but I strongly suspect that in the 1930s, before WWII, the military balance in continental Europe was so unbalanced as it was after 1991...2000. But off-topic.

Nobody learns... an universal truth, valid in every issue where people make decisions.

PooTin has a problem with "the enemy within".
