Ah yes. Murdoch (I need political puppets) Entertainment. They like interviewing twisted morons like this 1.

GOP Rep. Madison Cawthorn blasts Ukraine for "pushing woke ideologies," calls Zelenskyy a "thug".

Now much of a twisted moron is he?

GOP Congressman Madison Cawthorn charged with driving on a revoked license for 2nd time; court dates set.

But then again, you'd have to be a twisted moron to belong in Donny's RINO squad wouldn't you?

Gosh, last week the Ukrainians were neo-Nazis (who somehow elected a Jewish president) and this week they've gone right to the other deep end and are "woke". It's almost like what happened to Russian politics. Every accusation is a confession as usual.

He probably ran on a "law and order" platform too... as usual, long as it's applied to everyone else.

Captured Russian soldiers fear death by firing squad: ‘We will be shot by our own people’.

Russian soldiers captured by Ukrainian forces claim they’re “already considered dead” at home and fear they’ll face a firing squad if they’re sent back by exchange.

One soldier, speaking at a press conference in Kyiv, said that he had been told by his parents that a funeral had already been prepared for him, The Telegraph reports.

The soldier, deployed with Russia’s 2nd Motor Rifle Division, said: “In Russia, we are already considered dead. I was given the opportunity to call my parents and they told me that a funeral for me had already been arranged.

“If we are exchanged, then we will be shot by our own people.”...

Putin is pushing the attacks further west each day. maybe someone will slip up and lob a missile or a bomb into Poland who is a NATO member,

I am not surprised by this... morale is very low, many Russian soldiers are well-aware they were lied to about the reasons for the invasion (many even that they would be fighting Ukrainians) and many deserted early on, so I wager their commanders have threatened them that if they are captured it will be treated as of dereliction of duty and can result in execution.

So, next on Putin's agenda may be using biological warfare and blaming on the US and the Ukraine for starting it. Is it possible that there are some unknown Soviet labs in the Ukraine that Putin knows the location of? Is he that devious?

No evidence to back unproven Russian claim of Ukraine bioweapons program, UN says

The United Nations on Friday said it had no evidence Ukraine had a biological weapons program in Ukraine while Washington and its allies voiced concerns Russia was spreading the unproven claim as a possible prelude to launching its own biological or chemical attacks.

Every accusation is a confession, as always.

I listened to some of that Security Council session yesterday - it was broadcast live on BBC TV. At least, some of the countries' representatives were broadcast: the BBC clearly thought that other countries were less important, and moved away to other news.

Each country simply read out a list of their pre-prepared assertions. No evidence, no debate - no sign that anyone was actually hearing what the other side was saying. As a public exhibition, it was pretty depressing. Let's hope that they took their responsibilities more seriously in private session.

I find it sad that this has happened but not surprised in the least. Disappointed though because it was totally avoidable.
Here's a quote from over a decade ago made on this very board on 14 May 2012.
If they don't do that, it will take 2 decades to recover to pre bank disaster days.....
...the problem with that though is that war(regardless of what type - war is war) will be a certainty long before that happens!
The moment that the EU started encroaching on Eastern Europe, the die was cast.
The idiots within the EU thought: The USSR is no more so let's move & in doing so, forgot history.
Didn't the U.S. do the same in October 1962 when the USSR put missiles in Cuba after the U.S put missiles in Italy & Turkey?
The fear of Ukraine joining NATO was the fuse being lit.
As for sanctions, they never have really worked out well. It's always been the peasants that suffer. We are even beginning to see that in effect here.
Didn't U.S. sanctions lead to December 7 1941?
Edit.
That same evening of the quote, we see this.
Sirius, I doubt it will lead to war -- Europe has been quite aggressive about demilitarizing -- that makes war a lot less likely.

In the 20th century the two major European conflicts came after major arms races - that precondition doesn't exist.
Now that quote maybe be quite true, however, it did leave the door open for somelike like Putin to walk through without being stopped.

This is how PooTin wants his war reported.

Leaked Russian memo to state media reveals Putin’s information war strategy.

...The translated memo reads: “It is essential to use as much as possible fragments of broadcasts of the popular Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who sharply criticises the actions of the United States (and) NATO, their negative role in unleashing the conflict in Ukraine, the defiantly provocative behaviour from the leadership of the Western countries and NATO towards the Russian Federation and towards President Putin, personally....
I wonder if it was this young lady who leaked it.

Marina Ovsyannikova identified as woman who protested against Ukraine war on Russian TV.

She would certainly be in a position to know the real truth.

As PooTin and his Russian army's atrocities (aka: war crimes) continue to mount another Russian general bites the dust.

Fourth Russian general killed in Ukraine.

Keep on thinning out them top brass types Ukraine.

Meanwhile PooTin is getting what he didn't want.

Putin's war is triggering a NATO 'reset' that will bolster its forces in Eastern Europe.

He can't even keep journalists reporting falsehoods so he's going off at everyone now.

Putin attacks 'traitors'.

He can't even get parts for his country's planes so he's resorted to stealing them, but who was silly enough to leave their planes there?

Russia moves to seize hundreds of jets planes from foreign owners.

And things are not looking good on his home front either as more businesses go under and more protests erupt.

Now things are getting really absurd.

Unearthed footage broadcast on Russian TV has shown how the nation planned to invade Baltic states.

What dimension do these morons come from?

It is the people that pay the price of Putin's choice:

Ukrainian ballet star Artem Datsyshyn dies after Russian shelling
wrote:
... Anatoly Solovyanenko, chief stage director at the National Opera of Ukraine, paid tribute to him as "a great artist" and "a wonderful man".

Russian-American choreographer Alexei Ratmansky also expressed his sadness ... "He was a beautiful dancer loved by his colleagues. Unbearable pain," ...

... Datsyshyn died from "wounds received on February 26 when he [was hit by] Russian artillery fire"...

... Datsyshyn's death follows reports that Ukrainian actress Oksana Shvets died after a Russian rocket attack.

Shvets, 67, died after the attack on a residential building in Kyiv ... She was reported to be a veteran of stage and screen for decades in Ukraine, and the recipient of one of the country's highest artistic accolades.

Very sad and all completely unnecessary.

It's about time that Republicans called out these PooTin loving RINO's.

Russian cosmonauts arrive in space wearing colours of the Ukrainian flag

Three Russian cosmonauts have arrived at the International Space Station wearing flight suits in the colours of the Ukrainian flag, in what appears to be a bold statement of support for the nation that is currently battling a Russian invasion.

They were the first new arrivals on the space station since the start of the Russian war in Ukraine last month.

A video showed the men – Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveyev and Sergey Korsakov, of Russian space corporation Roscosmos – wearing blue and white suits before blasting off on Friday.

When they arrived, they had changed and boarded the space station wearing yellow suits with blue accents.

However, asked about the suits once they arrived at the ISS – where they joined American, Russian and German crew – they did not mention Ukraine.

Brilliant and a brave move.

Also mentioned on BBC News:

Russians board International Space Station in Ukrainian colours
wrote:
Russian cosmonauts have arrived at the International Space Station wearing Ukrainian colours, in what appears to be a statement opposing the invasion...

... blasted off from a Russian-owned facility in Kazakhstan... A few hours later, two sets of hatches were opened and the three smiling men floated into the space station one by one wearing bright yellow space suits with blue accents.

The standard-issue Russian uniform is plain blue, and at least one of the men was seen wearing this before take-off.

The moment was live-streamed by both Nasa, the American space agency, and the Russian agency Roscosmos...

Brilliant.

And with some carefully plausible deniability:
... "We had accumulated a lot of yellow material so we needed to use it," he joked. "That's why we had to wear yellow."...

... It has been suggested that the colours are a reflection of the fact that all three cosmonauts attended the Bauman Moscow State Technical University which has a similar colour scheme. It's a "Bauman crew", the university has been trumpeting.

The cosmonauts themselves, however, said noticeably little...

All very much live to the entire world.

Stay safe folks!
