Well, 2 posts by Igor from 2012, tells me that Igor changed his mind about Putin :-)

Can't you find more modern posts?
As I wrote some years ago, Putin is not good, but also he's not the evil for Russia in general sense. He works for the benefit of certain circles in Russia and he's not interested in meaningless adventures harmful to the Russian economy and sharply worsening the domestic political situation. He can calculate the consequences, and he supports unrecognized republics in Eastern Ukraine, but he really does not want to occupy Ukraine. Reunion of Crimea was enough. Otherwise, he would have done this in 2014 or in 2015, when the Ukrainian army basically was a crowd of non-professionals.

Oh, more and more disinformation... It's interesting, what will say US mass-media when the Ukrainian army will start attack against Donetsk and Lugansk?

The photo that show building that was damaged in 2014 or 2015... it is very relevant in 2022, of course.

Windows absent but traces of shell fragments is present on the wall... It's not the same damage, and that building is very close to border with Donetsk republic, unlike kindergarten.

what will say US mass-media when the Ukrainian army will start attack against Donetsk and Lugansk?

Putin treats the Minsk agreement(s) like Hitler treated the Munich agreement.

Why would the Ukraine attack? Unlike Putin, Ukraine isn't interested in grabbing territory for ego's sake. If they wanted the area they don't want a bombed out wasteland, they would want it intact and the only way that happens is diplomatically.

Ukrainian army shelled civil population many times for this years, OSCE many times reported it. And Kiev did not take any real steps for peaceful solution. Amnesty? No! Autonomy for the Eastern regions? No! Russian as the second official language in Eastern regions? No! Ukrainian government did other - they banned education in Russian language, for what? To destroy opportunity for dialogue. BTW, on videos, most local people speak Russian, on the Kiev-controlled side of Eastern Ukraine also, now their children must lost their native language.

Viktor Yanukovych was just a Putin imitation puppet who was draining the Ukraine people dry.

Viktor Yanukovych was legally elected president of Ukraine. More than 12.4 millions voters voted for him. And more than 3 years he was normal for US.

Really? Is this the way Putin justifies his actions? Well, I guess he has proved that Germany was right and should have annexed all the land to St. Petersburg. Disgusting.

Why shouldn't Ukraine ban the Russian language. The Russians in the country were put there by Stalin after 1945, to replace the Ukrainians he had shipped off East because didn't like them just like he did with the Crimean Tatars https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deportation_of_the_Crimean_Tatars.

If they want to speak Russian then they should go back to Russia, and not try to claim this is part of Russia because they were put there 'illegally'.

One of many examples - Albanians in Serbian Kosovo. Should they go back to Albania? But the US supported their war for independence. Also in the North Macedonia, US and NATO forced Macedonian government to give local autonomy for ethnic Albanians. World history is very interesting and complex thing. And Eastern Ukraine was not Ukrainian before 1920th, when borders was changed, and it was only internal administrative borders at that times.

Modern situation in Ukraine (and very possible recognition of independence of Eastern Ukrainian republics by Russia) show very bad perspectives. Very bad. Caribbean crisis (that was initiated by installation US nuclear missiles in Turkey, very close to the USSR border, this caused installation Soviet missiles in Cuba)... No, modern situation is other, of course. Nevertheless, a very dangerous crisis is very possible.

Yes, Putin bad, very bad, but he does know how to brainwash the weak and make those opposing him disappear.

And that is being attempted again, this time by Putin. There are the ongoing "emergency evacuations" from the Donbas areas to move the present people into Russia, and away from where they have lived for the last few generations...

So far, there have been a few thousand people coerced into 'evacuating'.

What will Putin do with the few million that remain?...

Good deductions there.

There's another picture for that same school showing a small crater in the playground, that is claimed to be from a second shot.

One to watch further...

Meanwhile over in the 'Rebel' held area, there's been some very obviously faked car bombs, all with no injuries but with lots of dramatic footage...

And undeniably, Russia is still showing off a LOT of very threatening hardware, all pointed at Ukraine...

There is some very clear video of the aftermath of the school having been shelled. Very clear.

The news of further developments is rather disturbing also... Especially that Russia and Belarus are soon to disconnect Ukraine from their electricity power grids...

See:

WION: ... Russia could attack on Ukraine today| Russia says no plan for Biden-Putin summit...

And Putin's wargames are ongoing...

See on the ground:

A 'Z' FOR INVASION, RUSSIAN TANKS PAINTED WITH WAR COLORS ARE READY...

I see Putin is now deciding where other countries boundaries are located. I guess all that screaming about the USA meddling in the internal affairs of other countries was all hypocritical and only Russia has that right.

<ed>And now he has invaded!
