Only one side has a low enough view of human life to fire at a school. Only one side has soldiers who would carry out such an order.

Yes, Ukraine. Ukrainian artillery very many times shelled territories of their opponents. Donetsk's civil buildings, schools, etc. Also, that video clearly shows (if to see and think) that the shelling of Ukrainian kindergarten is the Ukrainian fake.
BTW, today Ukrainian president is on visit in Munich, Germany. It's strange if he really waiting for war.

You underestimate so much of our understanding, and believe it or not there are quite a few of us who do read Russian, and do see through the propaganda spread by news sources in ever country.
And you really make me both weep and laugh at your ill-founded statement that Ukrainians outside territories of Donetsk and Lugansk, but near the Russian borders, don't panic - those that I know personally are really scared that the actions of either the USA or Russia will provoke the other into a war that no sane person wants.

P.S. But the constant trend of degradation of level of US government and diplomats in 21th century... They do not really understand the consequences of their actions, it is frightening.

Nor do those in power in Russia. And the attitudes and actions of BOTH Russia and the USA scare me.

There really is an amazing amount of propaganda flying around at the moment.

There's also a surprising uptick of fake news channels on YouTube that all claim, and supposedly show, that war has already begun! (Note, despite false flag provocations, cooler heads than Putin are holding off pulling any triggers.)

Does Putin really think he can fool his own population?...

In the very real news at the moment, we have some very unusual happenings:

We now have THREE big vehicle ferries in recent days that have all 'somehow' caught fire. Cause unknown.

And all three fires have been serious enough to be uncontrollable... (People have died and/or are missing.)

Is there any coincidence with Putin's games to destabilize the world economies?...

Or are those ferries "required disabled" to deny military use?...

Message 2094521 - Posted: 19 Feb 2022, 19:11:49 UTC - in response to Message 2094515.

So, the three ferries are:

Euroferry Olympia Fire

Felicity Ace Car Ferry Fire

Those two are very big ships that are a very expensive huge loss. They are also the sort of ships that are requisitioned for quickly moving troops and equipment.

The third ferry to burn in recent days is:

Massive Ferry Fire Kills At Least 39 In Southern Bangladesh

Those three fires could all be an unfortunate coincidence of timing, even if all very unusual... But... 'Unconventional' warfare and all that...?

By sheer weight of tanks:

Putin appears to assume that he has already annexed the Donbas. He provocatively merely drove across the border.

All in the ongoing 'game' of politics.

Will Putin be emboldened to grab more? Will he just simply get greedy? Too greedy??...

I saw videos. For example - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdoB90VcA8E|. BTW, local people speak Russian with reporters. And one woman in this video tell that they was under shelling on the Donetsk territory and after then they moved to Ukraine (but the translation miss that fact).

P.S. There is more talk about the war in the West than in Ukraine or Russia.

... under shelling on the Donetsk...

Is that not with Russian artillery?

There are very highly visible Russian units there who are 'practicing' with their guns...

All an ongoing game in the Putin war games and army practice in the Donbas?

BTW, I think you don't know that on February 15, Russian parliament voted for the project to officially recognize the Donetsk and Lugansk republics, but the Putin refused.

You miss the truth. Only Eastern Europeans are willing to do such acts.

As to fake or not, one has to understand how deep a shell will penetrate into brick, how shaped the charge is, and how large the charge is or even if there is a charge, never mind the internal layout of the structure to know how the pressure wave will spread. Without knowing exactly what kind of projectile was fired and with what muzzle velocity the damage shown can be correct. Frankly it looks very much like when Israel shells Palestine and hits a well built structure.

BTW, Ukrainians are Eastern Europeans. Also, such acts we can see in the history of all regions of Earth, except Antarctic.

There is no shell on the floor of the room, no shell fragments, there is no traces of shell fragments on the walls, no fire, no air wave that knocks out the glass and scatters all things in the room. Only the bunch of bricks and a very little dust and some cracks on one window glass (one of several windows in the room). I think it was something like a pneumatic jackhammer, not artillery.

Are you able to view a 3rd-party news site?

See: CRUXnews YouTube

For the Russian tanks parked in the middle of the Donbas, see...

Well, checking further, that one is looking like a fake news propaganda channel to stir up the rhetoric...

There are some very deadly games at play for stirring up "False Flag" excuses...

Meanwhile, Putin has nearly 200,000 guns pointed all at Ukraine. So why would Putin do that?...

BTW, over the 8 years since the violent overthrow of Ukrainian President Yanukovich (voted for by the Eastern regions of Ukraine) and the outbreak of the crisis, the Ukrainian government could take at least one step to resolve the conflict - declare Russian the second official language for the Eastern regions. But nothing like this, they passed an opposite law, to ban education in Russian. So, they do not seem interested in a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

Russia-Ukraine will be world’s first ‘naked war’.

OSINT enthusiasts on the ground are quickly shooting down the Russian propaganda. ;-)

You can see that the wall is five bricks thick. You can plainly see then the hole gets larger from outside to inside. You can plainly see the radial damage cracks on the interior walls. You can see the interior plaster folded back and hanging by the wall paper. You can plainly see the window frame is no longer square and the wall is bowed in from the impact. Unfortunately no picture of the outside of this hole and especially the ground outside.

The glass looks to be some form of safety glass as you would expect in a classroom, so kids being kids don't shatter it.

I doubt looking at that construction that a large car at 150kph could penetrate and that is a lot of energy.

All damage points to a substantial kinetic energy impact and hyper-sonic shock wave.

Igor, stop assuming the shell had to penetrate and explode inside the room. I doubt that Putin trusts his puppets in Donbass enough to supply them with the latest in armor piercing shells that could knock out his own tanks.

Message 2094597 - Posted: 20 Feb 2022, 9:40:52 UTC - in response to Message 2094585.

Having had the misfortune to have seen too many buildings that have suffered damage due to explosions I would say that room was not the victim of a "large" explosion (either inside or close-by outside). The damage is more like either a small explosive charge placed on or near the wall, or some form of impact from a fairly large object travelling at relatively low velocity. It was certainly NOT a long range artillery shell.
So what would I suggest? In no particular order:
A crane mounted demolition hammer?
A small plastic charge on the wall?
A solid shot tank shell?
A tank shell that didn't detonate?
RPG round that didn't detonate?

I think I would rule out the plastic explosive charge as there it on evidence of scorching on the bricks. I would rule out the tank shell and the RGP as it would be so easy to get a picture of the offending article. Either of the tank shells would cause far more shock wave damage within the room which, apart from that wall, is far too neat and tidy. So I would point to a deliberate act with a crane mounted demolition hammer, in which case it is almost certainly what NATO would describe as a "Blue on Blue" act.

Given that Donetsk is about 50km from the edge of the "boarder" artillery shells would come in through the roof and not punch a nice round hole in a side wall of a building.

Good deductions there.

There's another picture for that same school showing a small crater in the playground, that is claimed to be from a second shot.

One to watch further...

Meanwhile over in the 'Rebel' held area, there's been some very obviously faked car bombs, all with no injuries but with lots of dramatic footage...

And undeniably, Russia is still showing off a LOT of very threatening hardware, all pointed at Ukraine...

Wargames ongoing...

Scene in kindergarten is a fake, undoubtedly.
