Don't look up is a political satire in which two astronomers discover a comet that they calculate will hit the earth in 6 months and is big enough to cause the extinction of all life on earth. I won't reveal any more of the plot. The movie is a product of Netflix and is available on demand if you get Netflix.

As to paying for 1 of them streaming channels, I'm out (it's just not worth the $'s IMHO as it will wind up being free). :-)

It isn't overtly party specific. It's more a knock against the media industry and the way it manipulates the news. The powers that be when confronted by the evidence of impending doom just by looking up reply by encouraging people "Don't look up", at least until the rocks started hitting. And the final scene is hilarious. Don't depend on media reviews to decide whether to watch it or not.

Enjoyed it Much. Can't Stand Leftist Actors in Real Life, but I Enjoyed them in This Movie. Streep did a Great Job in Making One Hate Her as Prez.

Really felt for Character Leo D. Played.

Discoverer of Comet sho went thru some Emotional Moments.

Didn't see Anything Funny in Final Act. They Were Heroic in Their Final Moments. Done Well. OH WAIT. You Mean 28 Million Years Later when
the ELITE Came Out of 'CryO'. Yeh. Dat Was GOoD. And Deserved.

The BIG Money Guy Tasked with Blowin' up Comet was a True A**.

Didn't Understand why Military was Not Also in on the 'Deflection'/Blow Up of Asteroid/Comet.

Oh Well. Earth Needed a Reboot I Suppose

The In-Movie or In-Series 'Commercials' are Nicely 'Unobtrusive' and DO NOT Take Away from Story/Narrative.
