It's certainly very bright here ATM for what is suppose to be a cloudy day, where's my sunnies? Anyway I thought that I'd do another yard inspection in the hope of mowing, but the ground is oozing water like there's no tomorrow and I don't have floaties for the mower. I have been snowed in there some years ago. Lost the front of the car under a snow drift. Dug it out after three days and... The battery was completely dead. The Inn keeper kindly drove his trusty old beat-up Land Rover round to give a jump start... Except... The car bonnet (hood) was frozen shut. That was carefully scraped and prized open to reveal a completely snowed up engine compartment... Cleaned out the snow from around the ignition and air filter and... After a very reluctant start, the engine chugged to life sounding like an old scrapper... As it warmed up and steamed off, we were able to de-ice the INSIDE of the windscreen... ... Took the morning and into the afternoon to get going!! Good fun adventure amongst some very good people.
