Here we go...

TLPTPHW #309

The following are "the Rules":

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.)
6. No double posts. Violators buy drinks or a meal for the house in Rocky's.
7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post)

I went to my dads for Thanksgiving and had a good time. Watched the first eight episodes of Sweet Tooth. Waiting for more. We liked it and watched some Lucifer after that.
Finally got a good look at the pictures my dad took of stepmoms Dodge Journey. Everything was a total loss from the firewall to the front bumper.
If I can figure out how to post pictures I would.

A bright day here, not due to the sun being out, but the white fluffy stuff that's covering everything and reflecting what little light there is.

Finally the rain has moved off to annoy someone else after an 9hr soaking went on here.

Cheers.

The Sun showed itself for a brief flash, but has now gone into hiding by sinking below the horizon.
The white fluffy stuff of early today has also gone to be replaced by a chilling windy dampness.

The southern part of the left coast is having the wonderful weather called Santa Ana. Fortunately it has not yet brought the firebugs out.

After donning my gumboots to do a yard inspection I've decided there's no way that I'll be able to run the mower over it tomorrow morning (and it needs doing now) so that leaves Friday as my next window of opportunity to get a break in this weather.

Anyhow it's time to venture across to the supermarket to get Dog and I some supplies for a few more days while it isn't raining. ;-)

Cheers.

My stepmom has a couple of cracked ribs and a cracked c4 vertebrae. She bruises easily and the seatbelt did it’s job. The ac compressor and passenger side tire was on the pavement. The bonnet had a hole you could put your hand through.
My stepmom is at home and moving and walking around being herself.

Thanks Vic and all!

And good the good luck and good engineering held for Admiral's stepmom!!

Seen a good few remains of prangs and crashes littering the roads around here and further afield recently. We've had the high winds of Arwen with added snow and ice in patches. I thought I was prepared but never thought to include my snow shovel. Wasn't that bad to need it but the bits of snow were still a surprise.

All the wind really killed my mpg...

This time, I'm parked up where I shouldn't need to clear sticky wet leaves and twigs to be able to see out the windscreen...

All good fun for a blast on the road!...

And stuck for some spare parts until Monday. Hey ho... Is there any of those Black Friday bargains left??...

How to post pictures in 3 easy steps

1. Resize the picture to fit these pages. Around 500-600 pixels wide is good.
2. Go to Imgur Upload.
Drag and drop the picture file into the space labeled "Drop Images Here"

Move your mouse into the area where the picture is and a window will appear "Copy Link"
Click on it the three dots ... next to it and you will see a new window with share options. Click on "Get share lInks" and click on copy link next to "BBCode (Forums)"

3. Now come to Seti pages and paste the link.

I own one of these, it's a spaghetti pan, it's made by Bialetti and was made in ITALY...
It's a good pan, now I don't need to use the colander for both the meat and the spaghetti...
