I bet that young schmuck Alexander didn't expect that to happen.

Sandy Hook families get approval to dig into Jones's finances.

A U.S. bankruptcy judge on Tuesday allowed victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre to retain a forensic financial investigator to dig into the finances of bankrupt right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who for years falsely claimed that the shooting was a hoax.

Jones and his company Free Speech Systems have been found liable for $1.5 billion in two defamation trials over lies that Jones spread about the deadly elementary school massacre in Newtown, Connecticut. The Sandy Hook families said that they need specialized assistance to review Jones' assets, income, and ability to pay those verdicts.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez in Houston, Texas on Tuesday approved the families' request to retain Nardello & Co, which is providing its services on a pro bono basis......

You have to wonder what those "Fox fans" are thinking now that they know that they've been lied to all this time while Rupert's lying mob could face more problems ahead.

Former FBI general counsel says more lawsuits are probably coming for Fox News over election lies.

Even pathetic Donny is raging At Rupert Over New Fox News Revelations: ‘Killing His Case And Infuriating His Viewers’, but the idiot doesn't seem to realise that that admission has cooked his goose as well.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see a few more far right fake news companies facing the same fate as Fox.

Now we have a conundrum....
Fox say they were lying about the election result, so they are proven liars.
But since they are proven liars can one believe that they are telling the truth now?

So Fox News subscribers & advertisers should now be demanding their money back (with interest and compensation) on the basis that Fox is incapable of telling the truth or telling a lie, so are totally untrust worthy.

The sleazy king of Fake News, Rupert, and his lying mob of morons are in big trouble.

“They groomed the audience”: Legal scholars say Fox has “absolutely no First Amendment defense”

And then there's another bit of truth for Fox followers (or should that be worshipers?).

Murdoch usually settles his many lawsuits — so why is he toughing out the Dominion case?

.....Or, to boil it all down: What this all suggests is that Fox News leadership is genuinely worried that their viewers will perceive them as a propaganda outlet, instead of a news organization. Why that bothers them is hard to suss out. As the court filings show, the leadership of Fox News felt pressure from their audience to downplay actual facts and play up conspiracy theories. It feels like theirs is not an audience who cares about facts, or even the illusion of facts. But watching Fox's machinations around this case, it seems that they believe keeping up the pretense that they are "news" matters to their viewers, even if no one actually believes it.

It looks like Fox News and Hannity have got themselves into a conundrum, in the Dominion voting machines case .

They want to say Hannity is a reporter, so he can protect his sources, but if he is then he cannot deliberately broadcast lies.
But if he is a pundit his opinions are not news and therefore the redactions on Dominion's submissions will have to be removed.

Rupert and his lying mob look to be digging themselves deeper.

Dominion accuses Fox News of redacting 'embarrassing' materials in defamation case.

Between Dominion and Smartmatic I hope that they ruin Rupert's sinister empire.

It seems that all these right wing nutters these days don't want to front up for their own problems, even the king of fake news Rupert.

Judge skeptical Rupert Murdoch can’t testify live at billion-dollar Dominion brawl.

A Delaware judge discerned no reason why Rupert Murdoch could not take the stand at a trial next month in Dominion Voting System’s billion-dollar defamation lawsuit, remarking that the 92-year-old media mogul isn’t “infirm.”

Fox attorney Matthew Carter said that Murdoch’s vitality isn’t the issue.

“We’re not arguing that Mr. Murdoch is infirm or unable to travel,” Carter said, adding that the real issue is that the Fox Corporation chairman already sat for two days of deposition.

After several hours of grilling, it shouldn’t be necessary to subject the nonagenarian to more grilling, Carter argued.

Delaware Superior Court Judge Eric M. Davis, who sent the case to discovery in late 2021, did not immediately rule on whether Murdoch will take the stand. The judge indicated that the parties could avert the need for Murdoch’s appearance by agreeing to designate certain portions of the deposition for the jury....

Rupert and his lying fake news mob will be going to court.

Dominion defamation case against Fox News will go to trial next month, judge rules.

Smartmatic's case should follow the same course.

Then there's Alexander the fake B.S. artist.

Cryogenic Freezing, Guns, Cufflinks: What Alex Jones Bought With His InfoWars Fortune.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has used his InfoWars fortune to amass a bizarre collection of items—including a $4,000 cryogenic-freezing chamber and more than $100,000 in guns.

The new revelations about Jones’ personal wealth, which also includes roughly $54,000 in watches and cufflinks and a fleet of three boats valued at more than $100,000, came in a Thursday filing in a Texas bankruptcy court.

Jones and InfoWars’ parent company both filed for bankruptcy last year, as they face more than $1 billion in court judgments won by the families of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting after Jones claimed the shooting was staged.

But while the filing offers a glimpse into how Jones spent the millions of dollars he earned by pushing conspiracy theories, it’s not clear that it presents an accurate portrait of his wealth. Thursday’s filing came after a judge required Jones to submit more accurate financials, revealing $4.8 million in undisclosed assets for a total wealth of $14.7 million.....
But those numbers just don't add up, though who expected anything different there?

Judge confirms what we already know.
Judge says Fox News has 'credibility problem' after Murdoch disclosure
WILMINGTON, Delaware, April 11 (Reuters) - A judge said Fox News had a "credibility problem" just days before a $1.6 billion defamation trial after the company disclosed for the first time in nearly two years of litigation that Rupert Murdoch was an officer of the company.

Superior Court Judge Eric Davis called the delayed disclosure "bizarre" and chided Fox attorneys for having previously made representations that Murdoch wasn't an officer of Fox News, only to reverse on the eve of a trial set to begin Monday over the broadcaster's coverage of false claims the 2020 Presidential election was rigged.

"I'm not very happy right now," Judge Davis said during a hearing in Wilmington, Delaware. "You (Fox News) have a credibility problem."
