Posting after having slept thru the longest lunar eclipse in 600 years.
Did anyone get up and watch?

I was up and about at a time when it should have been possible to see the tale end of the eclipse here in the UK, but there was 10/10 cloud cover :-(

Just waiting for the sun to clear a thin band of cloud down over the coast so we can get some shine before the rain gets here.

Cheers.

As usual the rain is late in arriving here, but it is getting closer.

Cheers.

Well, it's dark, cool, and still, and the noise of the night creatures is yet to stir the silence.

Good time to add some beautiful music :-)

I just came in from being out in the rain after clearing more silt out of the laneway drain, tried to alter some water flows there as well (but I'm not expecting much success there) and dug a little trench to drain the pool under the clothesline.

It may not sound like much to some, but getting 47mm (almost 2") here in the 12hrs from 9pm-9am isn't common here and it's still pouring down. Oh well, we'll give them river systems, both east and west, a good flush out

I'm going to have to find wherever I left my gumboots last as the ground here is now so waterlogged that I'm sinking down into it.

I even had to go inside Dog's shed to say, "G'morning", to her as she thought that staying in her bed was a better idea.

Cheers.

Yep, that sounds wet. Similar to over here earlier in the year...

On a totally different subject, for something that came up in discussion earlier that I'm still giggling over...

  "He must be a mathematician."
  "How so?"
"He took a long time to answer, and he's absolutely right, and his answer is totally useless."

More beer?

Or more cheese... Redo from start??

More beer?
It's still a little early for that yet, but it's really not a beer type day here so a few ginger beers with a dash of 80 proof dark rum maybe the better choice for today. ;-)

Cheers.
