The crash-shut-down process may well have been a system that had my not-so greasy fingers on it. As you can imagine testing was "fun", and we hoped that those processes were never needed in anger, but periodically were. Hearing that one of our crash-shut-down processes had been called on, and had worked, there was a party of some scale.
