As a recent counterexample, when Colin Powell died of COVID-19, it was noted in all the major media outlets that he had been vaccinated. Whether any media report on this or that does not change the evidence we have that vaccination prevents 64-95% of COVID-19 infections, and correspondingly reduces the likelihood of hospitalization or death should the vaccinated person still contract it. Now they reckon that there is about 2% of our population here that have fully legitimate medical reasons for not getting vaxxed (transplant, cancer, blood disorder, etc., patients) and I reckon that the rest that don't are either covidiots or just plain simple morons. The unvaxxed are also the most likely to promote new mutations of the virus. [edit] In other news down under, as the Omicron version begins to run riot, a deal has been done for production facilities here to produce Moderna based mRNA (nothing at all to do with DNA) vaccines as the Oxford/AZ ceases.
