The government is putting extra money in - but it will have limited effect without extra staff and they are simply unavailable...

All too little too late to help and people needlessly die. Many more unnecessarily suffer.

And covid and the winter flu will add to the overload to undoubtedly kill people.

Guyana now has their nose now ahead of Gabon in 138th spot, Malta along with Mauritania advanced passed Cabo Verde to move into 135th & 136th as Eswatini was displaced from 128th by Syria, Laos leapt over Fiji, Guadeloupe and Réunion into 123rd while Trinidad/Tobago jumped over the Ivory Coast and Malawi to claim 119th, Montenegro removed Mozambique from 102nd and Australia took 97th place from Uzbekistan.

Albania has taken 95th place by a nose from Botswana, North Macedonia replaced Zambia in 92nd while Nigeria was removed from 90th by Estonia, Singapore jumped over Qatar and Latvia into 86th as Slovenia kicked Honduras out of 74th, South Korea passed both Uruguay and the Dominican Republic to become the 71st member of the 400K+ club and Denmark rolled over Palestine into 67th spot.

Days after Austria imposed a lockdown on the unvaccinated, it has announced a full national Covid-19 lockdown starting on Monday.

Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg said it would last a maximum of 20 days and there would be a legal requirement to get vaccinated from 1 February 2022.

There are very very many more covid victims that have died. Very many more than the few that have died from any vaccine.

Also, considering that the vaccines do not have the nasty full viral payload of covid, those very few poor souls that were unable to tolerate the vaccine, they very likely will have been killed by covid itself. For everyone else, the vaccine greatly helps against covid. After all, how many millions of vaccinated people could be wrong?

No need for any arithmetic: Go get vaccinated. Total no brainer.


Or... Suffer Darwin/God/Diety/Fate in action and take your random chances with the covid fest, unprotected, unprepared... Very many have. Too many have died.

Position changes in the top 50 of the death list were Portugal replacing Japan in 40th spot, the Netherlands jumped over Myanmar and Bolivia to land in 37th as Vietnam removed Iraq from 33rd, Hungary chewed Ecuador out of 23rd while the Ukraine took 17th from Poland, Germany became the 15th country to enter the 100K+ death clubhouse and the U.K. retook 7th place from Indonesia.

On the case list the changes were the Caribbean Netherlands sailing past the British Virgin Islands and Saint Kitts/Nevis into 201st place, the Faeroe Islands replaced Turks/Caicos in 199th while Liechtenstein slipped past Antigua/Barbuda to claim 194th, the Cayman Islands took flight over Chad, St. Vincent Grenadines, Dominica, Bermuda, San Marino, Liberia and Grenada to land in 184th as Gibraltar took 180th from Niger, New Zealand jumped over Yemen and Gambia to become the 176th member of the 10K+ club and the Channel Islands took flight over Burkina Faso, Aruba, Andorra and Taiwan to make a stopover in 162nd spot.

S.A. leads the chain draggers with 88.2% being single dosed while 79% are fully dosed.
The N.T. comes in next with 86.8% being single dosed while 74.8% are fully dosed.
