In the Southern African country of Botswana lies one of the largest inland deltas in the world, a landscape the UN has called "exceptional" and "rare" in its beauty... "... actions so far have been inadequate.", "... a carousel of madness...", "... a wealth of oil and gas..." Indeed, what madness is this?... How do we cure the madness so that we can enjoy our planet, "exceptional" and "rare" in its beauty? All on our only one planet... ... WE do not [want] see any more of this... Well... These people look to be very much more genuine and personally motivated and caring. Vastly more so than that for what we see from the fossil fuels polluters wreaking their greedy profitable wrecking of vastly greater disruption: Times Radio - Just Stop Oil threaten more disruption You don't get interviews like that from the coal and oil industries. Where do we go from here? Note: All on our only one planet. Martin See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Pollution...? What's that??... Wasted methane gas 'a scandal' wrote: The UK government is allowing the fossil fuel industry to waste large amounts of gas ... oil and gas companies are wasting enough methane to power more than 700,000 UK homes. The continuing problem here is that the oil industry has no costs to what volume of the Earth's resources that they squander and waste. Worse still, there are no costs to their business for causing reckless pollution... All on our only one planet... As our own slow moving flood seas continue on their agonising slow way down to S.A. others are suffering much worse. Landslide in Colombia kills three people, traps 20, as La Niña wreaks more havoc. Meanwhile up in tropical Darwin. Darwin heat stings as parts of city still without shade trees years after Cyclone Marcus ripped through. I reckon that Mother Nature is getting angry at us. |

Make of this as you will. North America's grasslands are suffering from a billion-dollar plague, trees. We'd love a lot more trees across our dust bowls here. |
