There'll be the deniers. Majority of the ocean surface has seen marine heat since 2014. More than half of the surface of the world's oceans have experienced excessively warm temperatures since 2014 — with extreme marine heat now the 'new normal'.But facts are facts. |

But facts are facts HEAT RISES Bottom of Oceans are ABOVE 'Crust'. Core of Earth is a HOT BALL of FIRE. RISING From Center to Crust to Bottom of Ocean Through Ocean UP TO SURFACE. And From There........ Yep I LOVE FACTS I LOVE MY FEELINGs More Art and Science Yep May we All have a METAMORPHOSIS. REASON. GOoD JUDGEMENT and LOVE and ORDER!!!!! |

Sorry, but much, if not all the deep oceans are very cold, indeed not much above freezing point. There's a strange, and little known or understood feature of the oceans called the thermocline (I think that how it's spelled). A layer where the temperature inverts from the "high" surface temperature to the low deep ocean temperature. Sorry, but much, if not all the deep oceans are very cold, indeed not much above freezing point. TEMPRATURE and HEAT are NOT dA Same Thing. Is it Called ARTIC Ocean or ARTIC Ice Cube? Is it Called ANTARTIC Ocean or ANTARTIC Ice Cube? HEAT RISES. Where Does It Go? UP Does it 'MIX'? ADD HEAT to Anything. Will Temperature Go UP or Down? When GOREBal Warmists Spake, They FREAK with a Half Degree and Really FREAK at a Degree or More. Yep May we All have a METAMORPHOSIS. REASON. GOoD JUDGEMENT and LOVE and ORDER!!!!! |

Why does this not surprise me? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-60245980 To anyone with a modicum of common sense building a load of new houses a fair distance from infrastructure like shops, schools, and even bus stops is going to make people more reliant on cars. Near where I live I can think of several such developments where the only way to get to a shop is to either get on one's bike, which is OK if you don't have a couple of young children to tend, and one needs to do even a moderate sized shop; or use a car, or rely on on-line shopping, which is great if you can get a delivery slot, and ***p if you need something urgently. At the same time there are a few brown field sites that have been sitting around for a good few years with no prospect of them being developed for housing, not because of ground pollution (plenty of that around here being an old mining area) but because the land owner is "waiting for the right moment".... On my daily walk to the newspaper shop, I pass a muddy hillside which has been zoned for housing, The fields are on the fringe of a market town, with good transport links (both buses and trains). But the site plans don't provide any links between the new estate and the older town. Instead, all the estate roads will exit at the end furthest away from the town, requiring a new two-lane swing bridge across the Leeds-Liverpool (broad) canal. Guess what transport mode the new commuters will be expected to use! I'm not sure exactly what stage the plans have reached. The local planners threw them out, but I think that national government 'called them in' (as we call it in the UK), and over-ruled the local decision. Some initial works have been completed (some serious underground electricity supply cables), but nothing after they went in. Meanwhile, the canal authority is currently refurbishing the old, inadequate, swing bridge with new control gear and automatic barriers. The contract team didn't seem to be aware of the plans to demolish the whole bridge environment and re-align it for the proposed development. Joined-up thinking? I think not. |

Climate-boosted drought in western US worst in 1,200 years. The megadrought that has parched southwestern United States and parts of Mexico over the last two decades is the worst to hit the region in at least 1,200 years, researchers said Monday.Even fronted by this evidence the deniers will keep on denying because sadly they don't know any better. :-( |

What Did People Do 1200 Years Ago to Make It As Dry as Today? NO Industrial Revolution. No HUGE Population. What Did HuWoManity Do? I've Lived in Kali and Have Driven Through da WEST and It's Been Quite Dry Before HuWoManKindS 'INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION' and Population Increases. HuWoManity HAS NOT Dried Out da WEST. Earth's Natural Climate Cycles do a Nice Job of DRYING And WETTING Again. 1200 Years Ago. As DRY. What Did It? HUMAN MADE Climate Change? Dats a BIG NOPE. yep May we All have a METAMORPHOSIS. REASON. Antarctica Is Heating Up and These Plants Are Absolutely Thriving. Some cute little plants in Antarctica are flourishing in warmer temperatures—an ominous sign for rest of the continent and the world. A study published Monday in Current Biology finds that the continent’s only flowering plants have been growing rapidly in the past decade, thanks to warmer temperatures.I wonder how long it'll take before Antarctica goes tropical again? That will mean that a lot more dry land will go underwater (Australia will get its inland sea back). And then there's. US could see a century's worth of sea rise in just 30 years. |

Countries such as Uganda and Samoa have been plagued with plastic pollution caused by Coca-Cola’s failure to commit to reduce plastic waste. Soft drink giant Coca-Cola is being blamed for the plastic pollution plaguing entire countries in a new documentary. |

Some might want to check up on their floaties and lilos. Scientists stunned by ‘unthinkable’ temperature surge in Arctic, Antarctica. An alarming heatwave is taking place simultaneously in the Arctic and Antarctic – a development described as “unthinkable” by scientists. |

So what happened then to make a worse drought back then ?? or do we finally realize that "climate" changes due to chaotic events and cycles of our sun. |

So what happened then to make a worse drought back then ?? or do we finally realize that "climate" changes due to chaotic events and cycles of our sun. What? And very conveniently ignore the man-made effects of dumping CO2 and other pollution into our very finite atmosphere?... How convenient? See: All on our only one planet, for a brief reminder. And just what makes you think that CO-2 is a "Greenhouse" gas at less than .04% of our atmosphere; thats .0004 or 4 ten thousandths for anyone who is math challenged. It hardly qualifies as a "trace" gas. Frankly, more C0-2 is good for plants and agriculture; we farmers (I was once) and gardeners like the green plants to have plenty to breathe and return oxygen for the rest of us idiots to breathe. Yes, we should plant more trees and build nuclear power plants. Lets not destroy our civilization with false religions. Do you also want to defecate little wrapped candies ? What's that you say ? we are warming- --we warmed up right after the United States was covered a mile thick in ice all the way down to Southern Illinois. If we are warming, I would worry about the Sun's output, water vapor (AKA Clouds) , and heat produced by 1,500,000,000 cars and 25,000 air liners of which 5000 are over the United states at any one time. https://photos.app.goo.gl/1h42QU3fihtTxPXy8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/JTf79gnEfcLi6Zcj8 |

For the record for the Chicken Little set: If you add up all of man's CO2-producing activities — all of our combustion and brewing and baking, all of our Weber kettles and weed whackers and Mosquito Magnets, plus all of our ranting, raving, and fulminating — we generate only about 1/30th of Mother Nature's output. Decay is her big thing. She invented the compost pile. When formerly living organisms die and decompose, they give off CO2. Rebuttals welcome. Facts only please --only clever ad hominems allowed. |

We can literally, physically, 'smell' the change in CO2... Please don't let hard physical real world facts get in the way of conspiracies and "Gee, Thelma, it just can't be so?!": How do we know that recent CO2 increases are due to human activities? Note that the article is from 2004. However, other than the concentration of CO2 having scarily increased significantly further since then, the article is still completely applicable. Note also that we have known about the normally beneficial warming effect of CO2 for a very long time: Climate Change / Global Warming Discovery wrote: In the 1820s, Joseph Fourier proposed the greenhouse effect to explain why Earth's temperature was higher than the sun's energy alone could explain. Earth's atmosphere is transparent to sunlight, so sunlight reaches the surface where it is converted to heat. However, the atmosphere is not transparent to heat radiating from the surface, and captures some of that heat which warms the planet. In 1856 Eunice Newton Foote demonstrated that the warming effect of the sun is greater for air with water vapour than for dry air, and the effect is even greater with carbon dioxide... And too much of a good thing is warming us all too much into a lot of costly disruption... For some people, deadly disruption. All rather too inconvenient... However, we could yet do something positive about that... All on our only one planet. Meanwhile, for another deadly inconvenience to burning oil and gas: Ogoni nine: Nigerian widows lose case against oil giant Shell wrote: A group of Nigerian widows have lost their case after suing the oil giant Shell over the deaths of their husbands in the 1990s. The men were executed by the Nigerian government following peaceful protests against pollution caused by oil leaks in the Niger Delta. But their wives had accused the company of being complicit in their deaths... A deadly dirty business... All on our only one planet.
