Mmmmm... I still have (not!) fond memories of my use of Deet a few weeks back...

Had to bin my socks (no, not because of any 'natural' odors!!) and my boots still stink of the stuff. And this is weeks later...

Go cautiously and be well ventilated. I certainly wouldn't want to be sleeping in a cloud of pesticides. How does that stuff distinguish not to knock out humans also?...

Meanwhile, we're here enjoying a beautiful cool bright Autumnal calm day. Beautifully tranquil.

Enjoy!

Actually I do, I worked on the home a few years ago in my manufactured home, the last mobile home by law was not made after June 15th 1976,
Manufactured homes are built to the nationwide HUD building code and on their own land are eligible for FHA mortgages,
Mobile homes are only good for State building codes and conventional loans.

Some also said that when I caulked the holes in my walls too, nothing bad happened...

I do not have $68 for lodging at a pet friendly motel nearby, so... Put up or...

I had to deal with 4 bugs before I went to bed and 1 on my chest this morning...

When walls and floors and ceilings are attached to each other in a manufactured home factory, nails are used and some use adhesive too.

The garbage truck was running a bit late this morning so I wandered around the yard while waiting to bring the bin in and came to the conclusion that I need to pull the mower out, but hopefully I may get it all done with just 1 tank of fuel. It's mainly some unruly tufts of grass that are making it look untidy and they're also catching Dog's chain while she's dragging it around.

We're already up to 17C, but the SW wind has come up making it feel like 12-13C, though I'm sure that it'll feel warmer than that pushing the mower around.

Cheers.

Got a expensive today. Went and bought a powered recliner seat. Just reach down and push a button. I like the name of the recliner “catnapper”. I will be testing out the name. I have blackout curtains on the windows now.
I work nights so I wanted better light blocking during the daylight. I do hope I have a better sleep experience for this change.

Winning with a Monday night bedtime post as some noisy rain hits my steel roof.

Anyhow I'm prepared for 1 more short antarctic blast.

Cheers.
