Home again.
The rocks are for resale. I was helping a friend who sells rocks to book stores and interior designers.
We got rocks like these:

This last one is about 2 feet in diameter. We paid $20,000 for it. We expect to sell it for $40-$50,000. My friend already has a buyer for it.

I check my mailbox about every two weeks. Nothing going there but a utility bill and a thanks for the payment statement.
Went out to laundry and found a bad situation. The mailroom was vandalized with many open mailboxes. Mine among them. The management is going to hear about this ASAP. Nothing in the box to take but junk mail. I was able to close the box using the key. Thank the maker. I was smart enough to have a secure address for important mail and not this ripoff mailbox.

It looks like we're all winning at Rocky's care of the Admiral. ;-)

Cheers.

Yay! Any excuse!!

And what a difference another day makes for the weather. Beautifully benign today. All good!

Winning now that I've finally got the yard finished and the brewroom is ready for action in the morning.

Cheers.

My mail comes to a US Post Office box. No choice here. They don't deliver to our home. Due to vandalism, the box has limited hours during which you can enter the building. They now also have video.

Winning on Monday morning. Back at home safe.

Except for the video, sounds like here. When the Office closes, so does the lobby.

Doctor, Physical therapist, Nurse, one is a phone call, the others are showing up in person.

I need a nap, but first check the bed for bugs, as I found 4 last night.

It kicked off here at -1C (felt like -4C) and now as we wait for the wind and clouds to arrive it's 6C (feels like 2C) while in my unit up in the back of the shed it's a humid 25C and still climbing.

11C is all that's expected here today with a chance of showers this arvo.

Cheers.

Well, well, well...

In stark contrast to yesterday abandoned for a washout with added squals mixed with drizzle and sand/dust...

We have been becalmed with summertime humidity for a wispy overcast bright grey day with foggy/pollution haze/murk for Sci-Fi style surreal views.

And the forcast is forever changing in the style harking back to the weather voodoo days before computer weather models...

Chaos and butterflies and fun!

... And something is on the move up from the Bay of Biscay...

And the Buccaneer has roared!

... It's also now parked 90 degrees around from before to show it's best side to the gate!

I finally got most of the trash out as it's a cool day and I barely had the energy.

6 bags went on the roof of my car with 1 bag in the car, of the 6, only 1 fell off which I retrieved before getting to the dumpsters.

My legs feel like lead weights, but I did it, though I had to sit down twice, once after dumping the bags outside, then after moving them to the rear of my car.
I need a nap, the Nurse was some help, but once she found out about a blood pressure monitor at Rite Aid that was prescribed and not filled she didn't need to be here,
My PT guy will be here asap in about 2 hours. I also called my IHSS worker for info on my application for help around here, like with a window.

Winning now that I've finally finished in the brewroom for today.

I'll drip the ethanol produced today through the charcoal filter tomorrow.

Anyhow it's time for a feed and then I don't think that the bed will be far after that.

Cheers.

Rain later... No sun.

Rain, cloud, rain, cloud, more rain.
I guess we've had this year's allocation of good weather :-(

It's raining here.

And it's a grey dark.

With the total flat calm quiet, the large raindrops are falling exactly vertically... Just like a scene out of The Matrix...
