Try 42C/108F for about 3 hours. You can do your own eco-cooking with that! Fried eggs and veggie sausage? Enjoy! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Spectacular towing columns of billowing fluffy white stuff rising high and fast against a brilliant blue up on high in the sky! Is that a Sign from the Heavens for great portent of a monsoon later?... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

A monsoon in the UK? Ok, that's new to me, I do know that I had a sister born there named Dorothy. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Not me! I'm still snugly ensconced on the ground :-) And well, well, well... What a transformation! For over here at least. All in the space of less than an hour... The fluffy white towering columns developed and then pancaked out and turned grey, then into a dark grey soupy overcast up on high, and all trace of a beautiful blue was obliterated, and the sun was lost. And then... Yay! Lo... Behold!!!... The seething all-enveloping black grey dissipated into high altitude wispy trails of all colours of grey, white and blue. Phew! And then a little later, we now have a new blue-grey high strata continuum forming. Indeed! Lo! Behold!! Physics and Atmospherics in action! And thus, with the setting sun, didst we get some further atmospherics: Three very distinct strata of cloud, with a mere smattering of light drizzle. Now settling into a humid steam heat for the night... Such changeability really makes you appreciate how we have such a special "Goldilocks" mix of variables for our atmosphere for water to be able to play such a myriad game of weather! The sun has now risen here revealing a very frosty landscape. Presently it's -1C (feels like -4C) with 21C being expected. Cheers. |

Hot and smokey in Colorado. Air Quality 85, Temp 98 Smoke has followed me most of this trip. I left home, near the SF bay with good air quality but within an hour I was in the smoke. 1,200 miles later I am still in the smoke. |
