I tripped and fell at about 3:30am today, it took me almost 10-20 mins to get up off the my hands and knees and off of the floor, I'm plenty sore, but I'll live. 8-5-2021 at 11:55 AM - PDT Sorry to hear about your fall, Vic. I'm glad you are in good spirits, and NOT seriously injured. God Bless, my friend. :-) TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

I just took a look outside to see if 1st light had started yet, but all that I could see was a wall of fog that I could just see the street lights through. It's 0C (feels like -4C) out there though so I didn't stay out there for long. Cheers. |

Thanks TL. I have an appointment with a nutritionist on Monday by phone. Right now my left hip is hurting once again, no word on the xrays for that yet. I still have not bagged my metal bed spring and the mattress is supposed to be here on Friday, but I did get the new slats in the bed frame a few days back and they're a bit thicker than the old 4. It's only 4" thick and about 50lbs in weight. The new slats in the bed frame and 1 old bed slat where it will fit. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I just returned from the supermarket across the road and although the temp hasn't moved the fog has thinned a little with visibility down the highway now at about 200m (it was about 50m earlier). Cheers. |

Cool and quiet after the rains... At least I dodged the drenching this time! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Short weekend. Whats left of today and tomorrow. Kinda worth it. Overtime last night at work. The general manager told us we finally are getting differential on night shift. Differential is going to be a $1 USD. It makes a nice pay raise for a 80 hour payday. |

Beautiful clear sky for a brilliant display from the Plough, Cassiopea, Polaris, a few aircraft, a few satellites, and... one or two Perseids! Enjoy!! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

The breeze here is a little cool, but it is a sunny 10C (feels like 7C) now and the shed's solar heating downstairs is working very well with the whole shed up to nice 20C. 15C is expected here today. I'm just waiting for it to warm up a little more (and the clover to wake up properly after the frost) before I go out with my 15L backpack and broad leaf spray the yard (hopefully I'll get away with just 1 refill this time). Cheers. |

And no mattress either, FedEx said not today as it's 106F outside, the bed spring is not bagged since I can't reach that high, I might be able to use a forearm crutch to get the bag on to the bed spring, so far I've only unzipped the bag. What a bugger, I needed a 2nd refill, but at least it's all done as the temp here has reached 14C (feels like 10C) and it's now time for a few Saturday afternoon beers. Cheers. |
