Good luck TL, for you and your parents. Thanks, Vic. :-) RE: Arthritis.... Thanks to Gout, I have some medium level arthritis in my right wrist. :-( Usually, my Gout attacks hit my toes, ankles and heels. Over the past year, they've moved to my right wrist. TL [EDIT:] RE: Gout Unknown to many people is that typical Gout medicine RAISES Blood Pressure. (Colchicine and Indomethacin.) I take Colchicine 0.6 mg up to 3x Daily, and 75 mg Indomethacin up to 3x Daily, as needed for Gout. Sometimes I have to take two days of medicine to alleviate the Gout. I'm sorry to hear your news TL, but do take care. Anyhow here's my P.O.E.T.S. Day morning post while it's a very frosty -5C (feels like -9C) outside ATM though 14C is expected. Cheers. |

Oooer! Good luck to the TimeLord04 and family. Hopefully having been vaccinated will give you all enough of a head start to not suffer too much from any symptoms. I'm sorry to hear your news TL, but do take care. 7-29-2021 at 11:23 PM - PDT [@Wiggo,] The Monoclonal Antibodies that were intravenously administered Wednesday afternoon are already working well. The light level headache developed Wednesday is gone. My wheezing from Asthma symptoms are almost gone. My Sinusitis continues, but is manageable. Full coverage from the Monoclonal Antibodies will be in effect between this Sunday and Wednesday of next week. Quarantine will last until a week from this Saturday. The new antibodies will last 90 days, just in time for Flu Season. I will get my annual Flu shot, AND, IF available at that time, I will also get the Pfizer COVID Booster shot. TL Oooer! Good luck to the TimeLord04 and family. [@ML1] The Pfizer vaccine worked well enough to make this COVID attack pretty mild. Still, due to me being High Risk with Severe Asthma and being overweight, my doctor jumped into action and was aggressive in prescribing the Monoclonal Antibody treatment. Also giving me the high potency cortisone shot and oral cortisone and antibiotic treatments. It's the whole combination that is keeping me going and speeding me to recovery. My parents could NOT make it to our doctor's Walk-In Clinic today. However, the doctor insisted on them coming in tomorrow morning, (Friday morning), for testing and treatment. [@TL04] Hang in there and good luck. Sounds like you have the full combat combination to give covid a total knock-out! Meanwhile in a whole different world: We are under a very damp overcast. @tl04 I'm sorry to hear you have been infected by Covid-19 given all your other health issues. You are a prime example of you and your doctor reacting quickly and getting treatment in as soon as possible. I hope that you continue to improve, and that the drug cocktail you have been given will prove to be totally effective. Further, I hope your parents get the same response as you have had, and that they will be OK very soon. Friday with very little sleep. My son-in-law took one of my kayaks out yesterday afternoon. Yes for a two-hour tour. Should have returned by 6:30. About 7:30 I took my powerboat out to find him. Combed most of the channels within a 3-mile range. I could not find him and his cell phone was dead. We called the Coast Guard at 9. They found him. He got lost so he had stopped at a waterside bar to recharge his phone and to ask for directions. That had been 3 hours and many drinks earlier. Kids! |

7-30-2021 at 7:50 AM - PDT [@Everyone,] [Update:] No more wheezing. Asthma is completely controlled. Sinusitis is still wreaking mild havoc. There was slight discoloration as of last night. Parents are on their way to the doctor as I type this. I can tell by mom's symptoms that she has the dreaded thing. :-( Still mild Flu-like symptoms in her. Slight fever, too. When I was younger Doctor Thill would put me under a heat lamp for sinus trouble, maybe it's why I like the desert? Who knows. Good luck TL for you and your parents. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Yeah I have to install 18 bed slats in my queen bed frame and 14 are 60" and the rest are closer to 61", the bed frame is 60.5" wide where the slats go at... At the same time my left upper thigh is healing up, it's now a shallow depression instead of a fairly deep hole, laying down is good for that, but not for walking. @Carlos I feel for you. Not knowing where they are. At least it wasn’t a uncharted “sand” bar. Lol. |
