As long as the ice cubes stay up in the clouds and not dent the festivities.

I did some more work on my new bed foundation, the last bolt has been TITANed and I have called someone to haul off the old mattress and old broken box spring and a an old sewing machine for $60.

For a while until the new mattress arrives from either Walmart($249.04) or Amazon($269.81) I have to sleep on the sofa and my diy ottoman.
I'd called Sit n Sleep, if I lived in Barstow delivery would be $350.00 I was told, they don't come here at all.
After the last 7 slats are installed on the velcro, then I can put a bag on it. The foundation was $154.55 delivered to me from Amazon w/a 700lb capacity.

Cheers.

At 4am here it was a damp 4C (felt like 0C), by 6am is was 3C (felt like -2C), then at 8am it was 2C (feels like -4C) and now at 10am it's 3C (feels like -2C) with the odd snowflake floating about while lite showers continue.

Our expected max of 7C looks to be a bridge too far away at present.

[edit] BTW we have now received double our average rainfall for July with more coming before the month is done.

Cheers.

Looking at the moon. And it is getting ultra dark orange.
The Full Thunder Moon, which will peak at 10:37 p.m. ET Friday, July 23, will have an extra reddish or orange hue to it because of ash from wildfires raging in northern and western Canada.

I remember the first year I lived out in the countryside. A fire had been through before my dad moved in. So all the greenery and stuff was back in a vengeance. The blackberry vines were loaded. The four of us could pick five gallon buckets full. I think my dad made 50 pints of blackberry jam that summer.
