Yeah, Dull. But it gets really hard being one of the few conservatives in a liberal controlled forum. Conservative.......as in....one who has a modicum of common sense. An item which is very lacking in today's society at large. And liberals just SO hate being called by their true name, because it calls them out into the open, where they become scared and vulnerable. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once."

Just to note for the sake of heading off any "conspiracy" silliness... Yeah, Dull. But it gets really hard being one of the few conservatives in a liberal controlled forum. Just keep to the forum rules... And be nice to all people? Personally, I have no idea of the USA politics and care little for the obvious partisan vandalism that looks to have stymied the politics in the USA into a state of hurtful quagmire. Unfortunately, that partisan quagmire hurts people and the rest of the world... Conservative.......as in....one who has a modicum of common sense. Sorry. That does not compute. Anyone declaring total allegiance to whatever party seems to me to have abandoned all common sense, and abandoned their own brain, to instead blindly follow whichever political mob, blindly. I'm very proud to very deliberately NOT 'believe' in any political party. Just go with the facts... Call in Joe Friday ("Just the facts")! An item which is very lacking in today's society at large. What we call 'society' is a strange social creature that is unfortunately all too easily manipulated... Cue social media manipulation and conspiracy 'theories' and outright lies and Marketing and 'click-bait' 'entertainment' carefully selected rousing 'news'... And liberals... Just another "them and us" type of labeling and division and divisiveness. Personally, anyone claiming to be 'Conservative' can have many meanings but the one which seems to be dominant is: "Maintain no change, stick to the past, stay stuck in the past." Meanwhile anyone claiming blind devotion to "Liberal" means: 'Shoot everyone on sight'?... I'm sure there are worse extremes and I'm also sure there are the majority who are quietly moderate, whatever their allegiances. Unfortunately, that greater majority of the good and the moderate never hit the news. Far too often, it is only the extreme idiots that you get to see doin' their screemin' an'-a shoutin'... There is an awful lot we need to move forwards with to improve society, and to encourage people to enjoy society. The present politics in the USA appear to be simply poisonous for everyone! There is far far too much vitriol and blame passing in the news and politics that is seen, especially so for the USA. My only hope is that somehow we can make those in power personally responsible for the approach they take and for those effects to be reviewed in terms of how their power has benefited for the long term, (beyond just their term in office,) benefited the greater population rather than themselves...
