At least the rain has stopped here, but that wind is still blowing a gale up outside.

Cheers.

Forgetting what Friday means?
Had a overtime day yesterday. Shortens my weekend. I guess when management is willing to pay people time and a half…

I have been out of work for 6 months. Almost like retirement. The days are starting to blend together.

That is because as I have found when you are retired every day is Saturday.

That order of mine from the Future? It's now in Narita Japan...

Doing some laundry today, plus the xrays, I even made sure I could take some pain pills while away as my hips are being a pain in the neck, I have my mask in my jeans pocket.

A pilot program for a Basic Income of $500-$1000 a month is being put into California law and seems to be aimed at the adults who used to be Foster Children and the pilot is repealed in 2027 and is active until sometime in 2026.

Grace is 13yrs and I'm 61yrs, I am at last my brothers age, though my hair is darker than his was and yes my beard is going white around the chin, so far.

Well I'm back from my ride to get xrayed, my hips & knees are going to be hurting for quite a while, at first they tried having me stand, that wasn't working so they had me lay down which did work, in a week or so my Doctor should have the results. I need to take some pills, it's almost too much.

How’s your leg doing Zoom? Does the fan still hurt it?

Damn, that long? Even here out in the sticks if you get X-rays done in the morning the doctor has the report that afternoon and if done in the afternoon then the report is delivered 1st thing the next morning.

Anyhow here at noon (while a chilly gale tries to blow us off the top of this mountain) the outside temp has reached 7C (feels like 0C) so I'm staying inside my 20C cocoon.

Now I think that I'll make like a pirate. ;-)

Cheers.

My left leg was being quiet until after the xrays today, the leg had quieted down before this.

And I aimed the fan a bit away from the desk, though I have to reaim the fan everytime I go past it cause of clearance issues here.

Xrays of my left hip and knee while laying down as standing was attempted and was simply too much for Me. I did get xrayed, no worries.

My legs are hurting today cause of posing for the xrays, on my side, on my back, ugh… It was a hard flat surface to lay on, but the pillow was soft.

I left at almost noon, got there near 1pm in Apple Valley, had my xrays done by 1:35pm, and was home around 2:40pm, at least the ride was comfy as was the car a/c.

I got a ride in a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Minivan to and from my xray appointment, while I was able to hoist myself in, the driver had to belt me in cause my extender was only 50% compatible, the door sill for the right passenger side is almost as high as I can step.

I took a nap after getting home as I was egghausted… A fiendish line...

I tried and failed to get a hold of the pharmacy department at the Doctors Office to renew the Meloxicam that I recently ran out of.

My UPS pkg is or was in Narita Japan, when will it get here? Next week sometime...

I think I need a 15oz pot pie.

A green edible? There are a very large number of marijuana shops and growers in my area. A few raided as illegal growing operations recently.
So a “I think I need a 15oz pot pie.” was to good to pass up. Lol.

It's a Marie Callender's meatless chick'n pot pie, it tastes pretty good.

I was talking to the driver today, He was 63, I mentioned 43yrs ago and He asked me "just how old are you?" and I answered I'm 61, except for some white in my beard people think I'm younger than I am.

It's now down to 6C (feels like -2C) and there could be some snow on top of a few of the hills around here this evening falling down to 1100m.

Cheers.

The sky is dark and cloudy with not a star to be seen (the moon is still a few hours away yet from rising) while the wind continues to blow away anything loose and the showers return. The temp is also now down to 4C (feels like -1C) with -1C expected, but with this gale expected to blow all night I doubt that I'll see much in the way of frost here at sunrise in the morning.

Cheers.
