From what I've read the symptoms match a Labral Tear in my left hip socket, rest, nsaids and hopefully some rehab and I'll be driving again in 2-3 months, it's not from getting old.

Perhaps medical care should move to an annual test and check-up and guidance rather than expensively and painfully leaving conditions to develop too far into going bad?...

We have the technology. All a question using medicine for a better good?

Now if a friend will find the phone number of another friend who could drive me around whom I used to have in my phone book,
but the number didn't make it from a previous phone to my current phone, then I could get my mail and buy some groceries.

As to what caused it?

A car door closing hard against my left side, if the center console was partly removed I'd have another 1"-3" to my right, otherwise it's a very tight fit in my car.

Otherwise I don't know.

I didn't fall since I didn't set off any earthquake alarms. ;)

Well I decided early that beer was off the list today, then I wrote off ginger beer and then taking in the weather I started to think about a glass or 3 of either sipping whiskey or black zambucca, but then I thought that I might want them tomorrow so I just settled for a rum with lime and lemon instead while staying warm.

Cheers.

Posting after having dinner and as a powdery drizzle falls here while the temp outside drops down to 2C (feels like -3C).

Cheers.

Posting on a damp and windy Thorsday morning about 60mins before sunrise.

Well I havn't seen any snow as yet (that's not to say that there wasn't any while I slept), but the highway was closed last so the road out front has been very quiet. Currently it's 1C (feels like -4C) here while we're now expecting a 4C max for today.

Cheers.

Well the highway here has been opened up again and the trucks are moving past through the village again as the temp here reaches 3C (feels like -3C).

Cheers.

As the rain falls here again and the temp drops down to 1C (feels like -5C), the state's traffic authority here has already put an "alpine conditions" warning up on the highway (which has also gone suddenly quiet) so it's very likely to be closed again very soon. All I can say that this is the miserblist winter's day at I've had the pleasure of (not) in the 18 that I've been through up here.

Cheers.
