Is the weekend over yet?

Oh anyone want a boat? El Vaquero as featured in Huell Howser's California Gold is available for the taking. It seems that the owner lived on it moored here on Bethel Island. He passed 3 years ago and it's been unattended since. The lines broke this weekend and it's just floating with the tide. No one seems to want it. Presently run aground on some vegetation.

Haha!

The sand here is only sand when damp, otherwise it imitates concrete pretty well.

My left hip is still hurting some and range of movement is still limited.

The vast majority of our beers are vegan as we never use finings...

Specially 'imported' into the area!

Now nicely Voodoo-ed!

Well I've done enough domestic duties here for this morning (not that there's much left that can be done now), but now comes the big question, what to have for LLB today? :-/

But after mixing up a couple of litres of a couple of half strength cordials I decided to for go the lagers today and start with the ginger beer instead. ;-)

Cheers.

Today I was able to get my left shin to the top of the 72 igloo cooler and I had it there for 22 mins(20mins last time), lifting my leg with a forearm crutch little to no pain, pain was reduced when coming down to the floor and I had some control of the legs speed as the leg went down.

Sucks getting old. But we all have our problems. I wish I could sleep without getting up 2 or 3 times for the bathroom. I swear there is a rut in the concrete floor going that way.

Try less midnight beers?...

Or earplugs to hide the sound of the water gently lapping at the side of your boat?

Here and enjoying a beer-free evening.

The bells ring and all is otherwise quiet.

Well it looks like the rain has nearly finished with us here and when I'm certain that it is I'd better get across to the supermarket for a few things before the snow arrives.

Ah yes, the things that start to go wrong as a person gets older.

Cheers.
