Cheers Admiral. Well as usual here we have the rules. 1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules. 2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.) 3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached. 4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them. 5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.) 6. No double posts. Violators buy drinks or a meal for the house in Rocky's. 7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post). And may the lucky poster win. ;-) |

Boat is home safe just in time for the new thread. Anyone want to buy a boat? |

Tired of the boat already, Carlos?? Or am I missing a bit of sarcasm there? Meow? "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Ah the realization a boat is a hole in the water that has to be continuously filled with cash. |

Posting after finishing all my chores for the day with an hour left to spare before LLB commences here, so I guess that I'll have another coffee. The shed's solar heating system is working well with the whole place now at 25C, but step outside and it's 13C while the effects of the stiff breeze making it feels like 9C and only 16C is expected. An antarctic blast is expected to begin tomorrow with negative temps and frosts for at least the next 5 days with afternoon temps in the low teens. Cheers. |

You only need a steel roof (mine is double steel skinned), a ceiling fan and some good sunshine on that roof Martin to have your own setup. ;-) It's now 26C inside while it's sunny, but still breezy, 14C (feels like 10C) here as LLB is about to commence. Cheers. |
