Why does it too often go to an unfriendly divide when cooperation works far better for all?...

I dunno, Martin. Why couldn't the British cooperate with the early American colonists?

I dunno, Martin. Why couldn't the British cooperate with the early American colonists?

A bit of a clash of concerns about slavery and the treatment of Native Americans?...

And greedy wealth grabbing...

The rest is history in the making...

Don't be ridiculous, Martin. The British made not a single move to protect Native Americans, they were only preoccupied with subjugating the colonists. And greedy wealth grabbing? That's a hoot coming from a British citizen. Most colonists were very poor, and the only wealth grabbing going on was in the Brit's playbook with their excessive taxation.
And I don't know how you can bring up anything about slavery, as that existed in Britain already and if anything, the notion of having slaves was imported from there.

Taking a short break for my hand to dry out after rinsing out 4 dozen longnecks so that I can prime them up with some dextrose before starting on the other 2 dozen.

Cheers.

Soon to enjoy a pause for thought after juggling older vs present vs UK vs USA specs...

Why can't we agree to all use the same metric (or any base 10 with conversion factors = 1) units system?...

Did we really have to go the extreme of a world war to agree just what an inch is?!

After a couple of interrupts here I'm just waiting for my hands to dry out properly before priming those last 2 dozen bottles then it's just the filling and capping to do.

I'm just surprised by those who come out on crappy days, the 1st interruption was a pair wanting to have a few beers with me before borrowing a few tools to get a job done, but after showing them the rain radar and what's coming this way it didn't tale much to talk them into getting their job done before beer o'clock, then about 10mins later another pair turned up, but I talked them into returning in an hour's time as I should be done by then (so long as I get no more interruptions).

Cheers.

Winning after finishing my beer bottling (with 1 more interruption) and now I'm trying to get a quiet beer in before that crew turn up.

The 1st drops of rain are now hitting my steel roof, but we should get about another 30mins in before that rain starts to get serious, and the temp here has reached 18C (feels like 17C).

Cheers.
