Just black and white magpies and a few flappy crows to add some squawks to the din around here. We also have an extremely territorial robin, and then the usual fly ins of pigeons, sparrows, thrushes, and an occasional blackbird. Curiously far far fewer than in previous years... I hope that our "Natural England" joke of a Government apology to industry isn't continuing to have them all poisoned and shot... I read about SpaceX. I have seen a animation of a sparrow and a crow. Does that count? ![]() ![]() |

... a sparrow and a crow... Not heard of that story or analogy... This one is more like Flash Gorden vs Ming and the Mingers with an added bald headed wannabe greedy slave-driving baddie trying to steal the show. Interesting times fly by! I read about SpaceX. See about SpaceX and a startling turn of development after over 20 years of the stagnant pork SLS: NASA Will Spend $2,941,394,557 On SpaceX's Massive Lunar Starship Lander!!! wrote: Many people were surprised yesterday when news leaked that NASA was awarding all the funding from the Artemis Human Landing System program to SpaceX with its massive Lunar Starship project... Indeed "!!!"! That is a very good technical move and a brilliant beautifully brave political move... The moon race heats up! Yikes! You've stolen our sun!! Twilight has noisily closed into a frosty evening and by 'eck it's chilly out there! Various bits can freeze themselves until I clear up sometime warmer later in the morning...
