I have 2 brackets and a steel center beam, all 3 are made by Ikea, I just need someone to attach them to the foot and head boards, the foot board should be no problem, but the head board will need either a 2x4 or a 2x6 to attach the bracket to. Until then the box spring will have to sit on the slats. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

The other side of them brackets have now been painted and they can now sit for 48hrs before I chisel them into the timber corners of the old waterbed frame. The parts of the old bedhead that I reused to make the re-manufactured job wound up being a half inch (approx. 12.5mm) narrower than the than the outside of the corner sections (extremely short posts) of the base frame and being 40+ year old timber I'm going to have to be gentle with them digging out slot/s to mount them into. Cheers. |

It has only been a dull glow in the sky for the last 2hrs here, plenty of that wet stuff is falling though. Cheers. |

Eerk, hope all your continuing rain doesn't put out the eternal fire or wash the earth away! Have you got some rainfall to spare to keep the chip fabs running over in Taiwan? See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Well that rain that had been falling here since 5am stopped at 9am and left behind 5mm (YTD:460.75mm), so none to spare here as yet. I just went and got a few weekend supplies from across the road as another band of rain heads this way and then I can just potter about doing a bit more cleaning up downstairs while preparing for my next job on the list. Cheers. |

That next lot of rain has arrived with not a bit of sunshine being spotted in between. It was 11C (felt like 10C) here @ 5am when that 1st bit of rain started, 13C (felt like 12C) @ 9am when it stopped and at 11:20am when it restarted again the mercury hasn't budged, though 14C is all that's expected today. Cheers. |
