What?... Fahrenheit at two measurement units below the freezing point of water?... Never heard of this Fahrenheit, only Kelvin and Celsius. Fahrenheit must be some King's obscure measuring unit. Probably should have stayed in the EU so as to use proper units. ;-) |

Sunday morning win. About 47f/8f with high of 80f/26c expected. Good day to go boating. Canoe almost done. Light sand and two more coats of varnish and she will be ready to splash. |

Dodged some spectacular clouds to return still dry. The waterlogged fields have dried out to now feel like hard concrete!... What next extreme?! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Splashed it. Now dealing with a tummy full of raspberries. They grow wild on the islands out here. Oh and some sunburn. It's 80 out there. |

Not quite but certainly a heavy clay based duricrust. Dread to guess how many litres of diesel per metre is gobbled to plow that stuff. Some of the fields have been deeply plowed into triangular corrugations that are fully rock hard. At the moment, large (unplowed) areas have been drilled with grass seed. And we have snow! Should melt during the day but still frozen chilly! How soon for some southerly stuff to bring back our summer? Aside: We've enjoyed a spectacular cloudscape throughout the day with everything accept any stratus clouds. Very good if compiling a meteorology book!
