Well Vic. I suggest you try to take a selfie of the area. I did this for my stepmoms foot. She hurt herself and didn’t know how. I took a picture with my iPhone to show her what damage happened. Then I had my brother get her foot callus remover. Those as seen on tv rotary sanding kind. The foot wound matched the callus smoother head. She had one of those moments when she now knew she did it to herself.
So I suggest two ways to try. Hold the camera behind you and then place the phone on something and move around in front of it to record a video and hope the wound passes in sight of the phone’s camera .

Turns out it quit bleeding overnight thanks to some boxers, so the problem is over. So no calls or pics are going to happen.

The stuff of nightmares!!

Healthy food in moderation, distractions from snacking, keep off the soda(!), keep with good fresh air, and enjoy gentle exercise, all recommended!

As an example: Einstein was almost religious about his multiple daily walks every day around his garden... Seems to have worked very well.

All very good for mind and body :-)

Enjoy :-)

I drink diet cola at room temp and I don't believe "big sugars" sales pitch.

I also have had a hiatal hernia since birth, this is part of my stomach being up with my lungs.

I have 4 dislocated joints(hips and shoulders), arthritis from my shoulders on down, damaged knees and ankles.

2 of those joints are eligible for replacement, but my weight is in the way, so no surgery.

Where I live at might be inexpensive, but at a cost, the temps can be extreme here, so going outside for a walk which I can't do now is not advisable all the time since I live in the mohave desert.

Hey, the Mohave can be very scenic and inspirational.

Enjoy what's around and live well!

Meanwhile, around an alternate part of the planet: Staying an average 4 deg C cool and the snow has melted...

If you like lots of beige and olive drab, but its been my home since 2006 which is only interrupted by the occasional earthquake and downpour.

This area had snow in 2008 six inches deep.

Ansell Adams style photographic picturesque bits?

Fantastic starscapes?

Satellite trails??

Obscure wildlife?

Tranquility for an undisturbed really good book?

Enjoy?

I just bought a package of 60x0.75 inch slats from Lowes with free shipping, waterfox could not be used for checkout at Lowes and so I had to use chrome instead.

The center beam support could be a piece of 2x4 lumber with 3 adjustable center bed support legs or 3 metal IKEA parts, a piece of 2x6 lumber and maybe 2 joist hangers.

I probably will dispose of my queen sized box spring.

Light pollution at night, so nothing spectacular here.

It's the Mojave desert, a few road runners and bobcats and ground squirrels live out here, not to mention a few birds and feral house cats.

Yermo base, Tranquility has landed. :)

Back from DMV. They really need to get that place working. 3 hours for a transaction that should have taken 5-10 mins. Appointment window was empty most of the time but is you want an appointment they are 3 months out.

The line in front of my local CA DMV is as long as ever and that's for a hole in the wall.

Here we have a beautiful tranquil calm jigsaw-patchwork sky of clouds vs inky black patches of stars.

Very tempting to go out to play with a tripod and camera and winter woollies!

I wonder...

When might the Australian sunrise coincide with the British sunset?

Well for this antipodean it's time for a few lunchtime beers, but as the pub isn't open just yet I'll get started off here before trudging up the hill to finish off. ;-)

Cheers.
