Enjoy!

I'm plain and boring in comparison with just plain/blended ground coffee. Ok... So I do go for the darker richer more potent varieties :-)

All a good excuse to move away from work for a few minutes reviving!

I'm still waiting on that rain that I rushed mowing the yard for.

I can see it off to the east and off to the west, but none of it is able to get up to this elevation as yet so it must be time for another couple of lagers.

Cheers.

Good Sunday Morning.
Had fun yesterday boat shopping. The one I wanted sold just before I got there. Still considering the number 2 choice. Nice but smaller than I really want.

[TV Update: DISH Network.]

OK - 3 Weeks Later:

FINALLY got DISH Network TV streamlined and efficient!!! It took adding the Linksys
Velop MESH Network to our home. (Can't remember if I mentioned this in my last TV
rant when we switched from AT&T U-Verse, U-300 TV to DISH....) DISH sold us a 3-Node
Pack of one Tri-Band Velop AC-2200 as the Main Node-Router connected to our
U-Verse Gateway, then two AC-1300 Nodes. One AC-1300 went to the Master Bedroom,
the other went to the Family Room.

I had to add two new AC-1300 Nodes. One in my bedroom, and one in the upstairs spare
bedroom. NOW, all rooms in the house where a DISH Wireless Joey Box exists, also there
is a MESH Node. ALL Wireless Joey Boxes are NOW connected Wired by Ethernet to
each AC-1300 Node. In addition, ALL Smart TVs, (3 of them), are also connected to
their respective AC-1300 Nodes. This allowed me to remove the DISH Wireless Access
Points from the Network, as it seemed that they were unreliable in that nightly they'd
drop connection to the Wireless Joeys.

FINALLY, had to turn OFF the WiFi connection at the Hopper3 DVR box, and then
connect the Hopper3 to one of my Netgear 8-Port Gigabit switches in the Attic Office.
NOW, this stabilized connection on the DISH Network to and from the Hopper3, and
to and from each Joey Box. (Had to do this because we were also getting SEVERE
pixelations at each Joey Box, EVEN WITH removing the WAPs. NOW, we seem to
have perfected the DISH Network TV services! FINALLY we have TV service that
we can just turn on, in any room with a Joey Box, and just enjoy TV. U-Verse SHOULD
have offered us MESH Network, and we'd probably still be with them. However; even
IF we had done MESH on U-Verse, we'd STILL be limited to their "4-Streams" at one
time.... DISH on the Hopper3 gives us 16-Streams at once!!!! :-) :-D

[EDIT:]

Forgot to mention that the Smart TVs HAD to go Wired to the Nodes INSTEAD of
Wireless. It seems that each Smart TV had issues streaming Netflix and Amazon
Prime Video over MESH WiFi.... However; after going Wired to each respective
Node, streaming Netflix and Prime Video went back to being stable; NO buffering,
nor hanging of the Streams. This, also, removed extraneous WiFi noise in the house,
too.

I bought the boat. As I was leaving yesterday I made what I thought was a crazy low offer which I was sure the seller would reject. I got an email a few moments ago. He accepted it.

Congrats, Carlos.
Hope the boat is as it was presented to be and you have a great time aboard it.

Congrats Carlos on your purchase.

Just ethernet here, sure I could go wireless, but what I have is really slow, so it's a minimum of cat6 ethernet cabling here.

A Gigabyte 3060 Gaming OC video card is on its way here via UPS, so I'll have to install the 461.72 driver and see about making a bios setting change,
motherboard wise AMD is using pci-e4.0 and Intel is still on pci-e 3.0 and might be going 5.0 to one up AMD and the 30x0 cards are backwards compatible with 3.0.

I still need to get that oil leak in my car fixed and I have an appointment at the Doctors Office on Monday, yep to get a shot,
though it would be nice if it were the Johnson and Johnson, as the timing might be a problem for the others,
afterwards I can see when I can get the car's oil leak fixed.

Paint & primer in one for the home's exterior is bought & delivered, HD's calculator said 3.0 gallons will do for the walls and I have 4.84 gallons, do I should be good there,
I still need 3-2"x4"x96" pieces of gray plastic lumber for the awnings, but I'm working on that. The paint bucket says White, at least I should not have to buy another bucket, I hope.

Excellent.

For something so mundane, we really do need to have a better invention!

Edit: Also excellent for getting the vaccine [whatever-the-thumbs-up-emoji-code is!]

Also as a side benefit this gives Carlos a hole in the water of unlimted capacity to fill with money.

There is certainly a challenge there of materials vs The Weather, but some excellent fun to be gained in keeping ahead of the weathering!

Enjoy the new aquatic ambience :-)

Hey! Just enjoy the 'new' :-) :-)

Posting on a damp and windy Monday morning, but that heavy rain that was on the forecast hasn't turned up yet.

Happy sailing Carlos.

Cheers.
