1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.)
6. No double posts. Violator buys a round for the house in Rocky's.
7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post)

Let me see if my old memory is still working, Dec 1976*, April 1977*, September 1980*, August 1981*, October 1991, July 1993 and January 1995 with my missus' eldest being October 1979 (we didn't get together until 1983 sometime and sadly she passed away a bit over 24 years later).

* my carefree young bachelor days

I can't hold a candle to my dad, he was in the US Army's 4th Infantry Division in WWII Europe as a Medic w/a rank of Corporal after Basic, from Normandy @ Utah Beach to Occupied Germany, he was even involved in the Liberation of Paris France in 1944, the French 2nd Armored Div liberated the other half of Paris.
