I began watching I guess is call a concept trailer for movies. I watched several trailers. It was a bit jarring to watch them throw ideas at the wall and hoping something stuck. The range of actors and character looks is a bit to broad for some people.

I was watching this one and suddenly I noticed what the background music was. It’s different but recognizable. Thunder Cats

Now try to keep the name Thor out of your head. Just look at the thumbnail of this video.
Heman: And the Master of the Universe

And finally this one might be a bit of a stretch.

Problem solved and culprit is something that even a lot of Aussies think doesn't happen here, but they're more common than they realise.

The chance discovery of a mammoth 11-kilometre long scar in the earth in Australia’s remote outback sparked intrigue and conspiracy.

The accidental discovery of an 11-kilometre long ‘scar’ carved into dirt and rock in Australia’s remote outback has puzzled scientists since its abrupt emergence two years ago.

A caving enthusiast was exploring the continent from above with Google Earth when he came across the peculiar sight and shared it online, sparking plenty of debate and one or two conspiracy theories.

Now, a team of experts has revealed the cause of the marking, which stretches across the West Australian border into South Australia in the unforgiving Nullarbor.

And it’s not aliens or some top-secret military technology, as a few internet forum-dwellers had theorised.
The presence of unique markings within the formation revealed how it was formed.

“It bears striking patterns called ‘cycloidal marks’, formed by tornado suction vortexes. This suggests the tornado was no ordinary storm but in the strong F2 or F3 category, spinning with destructive winds of more than 200 kilometres an hour.

“The tornado probably lasted between seven and 13 minutes. Features of the scar suggest the whirling wind within the tornado was moving in a clockwise direction.

“We also think the tornado moved from west to east – which is consistent with the direction of a strong cold front in the region at the time.”
Matej Lipar, an adjunct research fellow at Curtin University’s School of Earth and Planetary Sciences, was one of the scientists fascinated by the satellite imagery.

In May, Dr Lipar travelled to the dry, treeless location to see the scar in person.

It lies 20 kilometres north of the Trans-Australian Railway and 90 kilometres east-north-east of Forrest, a former railway settlement,” Dr Lipar wrote in analysis for The Conversation.

“The scar is 11 kilometres long and between 160 and 250 metres wide.”

Dr Lipar and his colleagues compared various satellite imagery of the site over a several-year period to determine that the scar appeared between November 16 and November 18, 2022.

Well the Hobart City Council didn't do its job obviously to save a few bucks, I should say with that date "pounds" instead.

The removal of the bodies from an Australian school sports field is believed to be the largest mass exhumation in the nation’s history.

Nearly 2,000 bodies have been exhumed from a sports field at a Tasmania boarding school - with some buried six people deep - in what is believed to be Australia’s largest mass exhumation.

Contractors working at the prestigious Hutchins School in Hobart – one of the oldest schools in Australia – discovered human graves buried underneath the hockey field while carrying out construction work in March.

The site had previously formed part of the Queenborough Cemetery before the Hobart City Council took over ownership in the early 1900s.

After nine months of evacuation, a total of 1,973 remains have now been exhumed, a notice published on the school’s website reads......

......It’s believed up to 13,000 people were buried at the Queenborough Cemetery between 1873-1934, the ABC reports.

Hobart City Council took over the site of the cemetery from a private company in 1917 before the school purchased the site in the 1960s as part of a deal which stipulated the council would fund the cost to exhume up to 1,900 bodies......
The rate payers will be paying for that job now.

Glad I don’t have to use my bank app. I just go to the website and do my business with my smartphone.

Most of that was bulldozed into burning piles by the time that I got up there the 1st time for the rebuilding.

Other than those burning piles there was some piles of of cleaned bricks and concrete blocks to be reused and steel piles for scrap so we had a totally clean slate to put homes back up on.

It was a sad sight.

Reminds me of the Camp Fire in 2018. The whole town burned. 14,000 homes.

I've helped them rebuild as part of Rotary, Habitat 4 Humanity, and Mercy Housing.
