Chances of clouds Monday. Wishing different for clear sky. I live close to the path of totality. Won’t be able to be there. But mostly in the dark will have to do.

Hey, Victor. Snoopy’s brother Spike needs a ride share. Things haven’t been going to well getting to his destination.

Can't help him, Needles is a long ways from here, he's in Arizona as those cactus'es are not native here.

I saw the solar eclipse yesterday. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
I don't know how the pictures will show up. They might be too large, but I will try.

I did not go to this eclipse. I had traveled to 3 prior totals. It is something special that needs to be experienced. Great shots, happy you got to see it.

Some "kind soul" had placed one of these cans at the front of a stack of cans of larger:

Thankfully I don't drink larger, but one of those that do may be somewhat confused.....

That would be for a whole different taste...

Then again, would a lager drinker even notice?...

Enjoy!

A couple of hours ago Seti was as good a dead (it would come up, eventually, but slow as hell).
Now it's as fast as it's ever been.

German newspaper "Der Postillion" reports:
wrote:
Finally complete: Collector builds own airplane from lost Boeing parts

"Yes, it all started in 2018 when I found a well-preserved turbine piece from a Boeing 737 MAX near Frankfurt Airport." "It must have fallen down during takeoff or landing. In any case, that's when my passion started."

"That doesn't sound easy at first, but these aircraft have been losing parts very often lately." "Just google 'Boeing'. Then you'll know what I mean."

The maiden flight is due next week. "It should actually be completely flyable,” the collector and inventor said. "It shouldn't lose any parts because it wasn't built by Boeing, but by me."
