Well, this line is a peach: The futuristic hybrid between a plane and hotel – which has 20 engines powered by nuclear fusion – is designed never to land. The fiction writer of this has obviously never heard that nuclear power plants of all sizes need to be refuelled periodically, and that means transferring (large) quantities of spent nuclear fuel out of the reactor and replacing it with fresh fuel. A glance at the images shows a very 1940/50 style of design, nowhere near as good as is achieved by today's large aircraft. Potential passenger reactions? - I like this one, but I think the time scale is wrong: As one commenter pointed out: “I bet I still end up next to someone else’s screaming three year old for the entire trip”. But like other stunned locals, Ms Szumowski's mind initially went elsewhere - was it an alien invasion? An asteroid? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-62261094 It turned out to be light emanating from a cannabis farm just outside the town of Mildura, in northern Victoria. |

There should be a law against promoting that... Lifelong self mutilation for the sake of a sales promotion?... That goes a long way beyond simple "Merchandising"... Stay healthy folks!
