Guess you could say he was 'caught looking'
Man on Disability Welfare Accused of Faking Blindness After Being Caught Looking at Woman’s Bottom
The 60-year-old, who lives in the northern city of Turin, was out of his home when the Italian Guardia di Finanza, Italy’s financial police, caught him looking back at a passing woman in March of 2018 to catch a glimpse of her bottom, despite the man claiming to be completely blind.

I hope it was a great arse.

Reminds me of a bloke i knew years back, who managed to do $6,000 worth of damage to his car when he did a double take look at a backpacker.
Apparently he caught a glimpse of her in his peripheral vision & she looked hot and mostly naked (pretty common in that area at that time), so his head whipped around for a better look. Unfortunately the car in front choose that moment to stop to wait for a parking space. Turns out she was very average and not even close to naked, making the $6,000 worth of damage even more painful.

LOL A $1 million clipart-based NFT of a Rock was accidentally sold for less than a cent
Begging for it back didn't help

... instead of pricing it at 444 ETH, which is just over $1 million, he accidentally put it up for 444 Wei. One Wei is the equivalent of one quintillionth of an ether: it's essentially worthless---even 444 of them is still less than $0.00000000.

Is there a version that comes without the all noise effects?

Cheers.

DUMB PHONES are making a comeback
The Sortlist survey also revealed that consumers were seeking to decrease the amount of time spent on smartphones, as evidenced by an 18% increase in searches in the U.S. for dumb phones (like flip phones that have no internet access, or limited access to emails only). There has also been a 5% increase in global searches for dumb phone services.

I've got 1 of the best dumb phones going. ;-)

It's called a landline these days. :-D

It makes and receives calls as well as taking voice messages after the 24th ring, though the handsets are wireless these days so they're great out around the yard and that's all I need.

Cheers.

Death By Waterfall
2022 Darwin Award Winner
Confirmed True by Darwin

No water shortage in this Italian supermarket, where a sudden tidal wave of water spelled doom for a ransacker. The man, 46, was a well known character in the city of Cattolica. He sneaked into the back of the closed market on Easter Monday—and that break-in was his last.

Nuclear Waste Storage in Finland.

OLKILUOTO ISLAND, Finland ? From the outside, it looks like any other modern Nordic building rising several stories from a cleared swath of pine forest on this quiet, rural island off this country’s verdant southwest coast.

But inside, hard-hatted workers are busy completing a feat of engineering that has never existed. It involves a robotic system and a basement network of switch backing tunnels carved more than 1,300 feet into the Earth’s crust. Once finished, the project, called Onkalo, will turn the page to a new chapter of nuclear energy’s turbulent 80-year story and make history for the power plant just a two-minute drive down the road.

In a matter of months, the machines inside this boxy gray building will begin a weekly routine that will continue for a century: placing highly radioactive gray cuboid rods into copper cylinders the length of a Lincoln Town Car. From there, the canisters will travel roughly two hours underground to crypts meant to keep the spent-fuel rods undisturbed for millennia in bedrock that geologists say hasn’t shifted in almost 2 billion years. Sealed twice over in bentonite clay ? which expands when wet, preventing water from seeping in and corroding the capsules, and offers stability in case of an earthquake ? this site is meant to entomb nuclear waste for as close to eternity as any human endeavor can guarantee.

Good news the scale said I weigh 482lbs now, since 04/09/2022 I’ve lost 49lbs.

Back on 04/09/2022 I weighed 531lbs according to the scale. A week back I was 516lbs.

Now if I really wanted a mobile phone I'd get a red 1 of these cool jobs.

You Can Finally Buy This $390 Rotary Cell Phone DIY Kit.

Sky's Edge

It's a little pricey, but I guess that that will come down with time if they take off.

Cheers.
