But there are many other critters here to worry about Vic, especially those big 7' killer kangaroos as they can jump, kick, box and rip your guts out all at the same time. ;-).

Anyhow we're still waiting for that rain to turn up, but I guess that it will get here eventually.

Cheers.

Being it was in a laptop, I'm wondering if it died due to excessive heat. Especially since that laptop has an internal GPU.

Hardware Monitor keeps stating that Temps are below 50C. (39C for CPU, and 45C for GPU.)
System has a 10th Gen i7 processor, 16GB RAM - (2x8GB Sticks), and touch screen. Also has
backlit keyboard. Heat 'could' have been an issue, but at these temps, I doubt it.

[EDIT:] System also has the 'Internal' - Intel UHD-630 GPU on the CPU. This, also,
states in HW Monitor that it hovers in the 40+C range.

Now I understand why Americans are moaning about the price of petrol (sorry, gasoline).

World's largest 'drone superhighway' could be built in ENGLAND.

The idea of a drone superhighway may sound like a concept from the latest science fiction blockbuster.

But it could soon become a reality in England, with the submission of plans to build a network across the Midlands and the Southeast.

A consortium led by software provider Altitude Angel has submitted plans for a 165-mile-long superhighway network dubbed Project Skyway, connecting airspace above cities including Reading, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Coventry, and Rugby.

If approved, the network could potentially then be extended to Southampton on the south coast and Ipswich on the east coast.

The group hopes the superhighway will 'unlock the huge potential offered by unmanned aerial vehicles,' with a decision from the government on whether to green light the project expected in the coming weeks....

Cheers.

When the price is £3.16 for a U.S. gallon locally. We tend to get disgruntled about it. Let alone the added cost to other goods and commodities.

There are somethings where if you haven't done it before RTFM really is a good idea.
This is one of them...

Guess you could say he was 'caught looking'
Man on Disability Welfare Accused of Faking Blindness After Being Caught Looking at Woman’s Bottom
The 60-year-old, who lives in the northern city of Turin, was out of his home when the Italian Guardia di Finanza, Italy’s financial police, caught him looking back at a passing woman in March of 2018 to catch a glimpse of her bottom, despite the man claiming to be completely blind.

I hope it was a great arse.

Reminds me of a bloke i knew years back, who managed to do $6,000 worth of damage to his car when he did a double take look at a backpacker.
Apparently he caught a glimpse of her in his peripheral vision & she looked hot and mostly naked (pretty common in that area at that time), so his head whipped around for a better look. Unfortunately the car in front choose that moment to stop to wait for a parking space. Turns out she was very average and not even close to naked, making the $6,000 worth of damage even more painful.

LOL A $1 million clipart-based NFT of a Rock was accidentally sold for less than a cent
Begging for it back didn't help

... instead of pricing it at 444 ETH, which is just over $1 million, he accidentally put it up for 444 Wei. One Wei is the equivalent of one quintillionth of an ether: it's essentially worthless---even 444 of them is still less than $0.00000000.
