Just tried to post message on BOINC message board, got notification that I needed to 'validate' my email address, which I have previously done. Then all of a sudden the page automatically refreshing itself with "BOINC message boards is temporarily shut down for maintenance. Please try again later."

Edit.... site is back up, I was able to post with out validation.
Must D.A. messing breaking with things again.

May be too far for you to go but I know that DAP does. They are in Palm Springs. I have a friend who is a doctor there.

120-134 miles one way, yeah too far.

I tried to get some work on an adj steering column done at a locksmith,
no one was there and someone was supposed to be there,
so I went & bought 6 bags of groceries and in 2 trips I brought the
steering column in as well as the bags. I'm just now recovering my breath,
I wish I had O2 as it says a hiatal hernia robs the body of O2.
It's why I take naps in the day, I have trouble breathing.

Coke zero tastes good.

‘All I Wanted Was Some Steak!'
Law enforcement is working to figure out how the incident at a Golden Corral restaurant began, CBS Philly reported Tuesday.

A former employee said someone told him the brawl may have taken place after a customer grew angry when the buffet ran out of steaks.

The International Space Station is about to crash!
Deliberately Into the Pacific Ocean
in 2030

The end of the International Space Station is finally approaching, with NASA declaring the retirement of the orbital outpost in 2030 and a dramatic deorbiting early in the following year.

Nothing lasts forever, not even the International Space Station. The writing’s been on the wall for some time now, but NASA made it official earlier this week, announcing that ISS operations will last until 2030 but no further. Upon retirement, the space station will perform a controlled re-entry and crash onto a remote part of the Pacific ocean known as Point Nemo. It’s all part of NASA’s plan to hand over space station responsibilities to the private sector and save a whole lotta cash in the process.

“The private sector is technically and financially capable of developing and operating commercial low-Earth orbit destinations, with NASA’s assistance,” Phil McAlister, director of commercial space at NASA, said in the statement. “We look forward to sharing our lessons learned and operations experience with the private sector to help them develop safe, reliable, and cost-effective destinations in space.”

In a detailed transition report sent to Congress, NASA said it expects to save $1.3 billion the year after ISS is gone and $1.8 billion per year by 2033. The space agency plans to spend these estimated savings on deep space exploration projects, allowing it to “explore further and faster into deep space,” according to the report. But by extending the mission to 2030, NASA will “continue another productive decade of research advancement and enable a seamless transition of capabilities in low-Earth orbit to one or more commercially owned and operated destinations in the late 2020s.”

In other snooze(Ya might want to), the moon is leaving Earth Orbit...

Each year, our moon moves distinctly, inexorably farther from Earth—just a tiny bit, about an inch and a half, a nearly imperceptible change. There is no stopping this slow ebbing, no way to turn back the clock. The forces of gravity are invisible and unshakable, and no matter what we do or how we feel about them, they will keep nudging the moon along. Over many millions of years, we’ll continue to grow apart.

Imagine going on a cruise, but instead of arriving home you wind up being kicked off in the Bahamas. :-O

A cruise ship had an arrest warrant waiting in Miami. So it took passengers to the Bahamas...

In further developments.

Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony seized by US Marshals.

A luxury cruise ship operator is underwater – and left passengers high and dry.

US Marshals seized a pair of popular cruise ships in the Bahamas yesterday upon allegations that their Miami-based owner, Crystal Cruises, has failed to pay $US4.6 (AUD$6.5) million in fuel bills, the NY Post reported.

Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony had only crew members on board, according toCruise Law News, while hundreds of passengers faced “bedlam” after being hurriedly booted off the ships before the vessels were seized.

“What a dreadful, disgraceful end to a so-called luxury #cruise line,” tweeted Cruise Law News publisher and maritime lawyer Jim Walker.

A third ship, the Crystal Endeavor, the line’s newest and most luxurious vessel, was seized in Argentina this afternoon.

The Serenity and Symphony dumped their passengers in Bimini last month before setting sail for the perceived safety of international waters.

The passengers, some of whom expected to cruise on to California, were ferried to Fort Lauderdale and then left to fend for themselves....

Cheers.

Going back to the future?

DeLorean to return with electric cars.

DeLorean is set to return to the road this year with an electric coupe inspired by a beloved classic.

The reborn company says a reborn version of the DeLorean DMC-12 is “definitely happening”, tweeting that fans of the brand can register for an online premiere of the new machine.

DeLorean teased fans with a shadowy video showing a low-slung machine with top-mounted “gullwing” doors similar to those fitted to the 1980s original....
Cheers.
