It happens in the US more often than you think. July 20 LA June 15 Oakland. Aug 23 Oaklahoma These are what I found with a very quick search. It's estimated that there are 1.2 guns per person in the US. We are a nation with too many cowboys that grew up watching John Wayne and Silvester Stallone. I have always said that shows like the "A-Team" that show everyone shooting everyone else without anyone getting hurt would lead to ignorant senseless violence. If we can't regulate guns then we should regulate TV shows. Winning on my little gun-free island. Well until duck season it mostly is. |

The younger kids and I had to spend an agonising 14 months watching my missus, their mum, waste away as a mind locked in a shell after several strokes and I hope that Michael Schumacher’s family isn't prolonging something just for the sake of their, ‘Private is private’, motto. Why the truth about Michael Schumacher's health can never be told. The missus and I made a pact that if we could we wouldn't let the other go through that, but sadly all I could do was to authorise the turning off of the respirator and that decision was made with the kids' approval. |
