No flu here, I get a shot every year for the flu, plenty of C & D3, a 2 layer mask and O Negative blood, so if I were to get covid-19 I'd escape the worst effects.

Posting here for the first time for a blazing sunny morning, beautiful picture perfect blue sky, beautiful flat cool calm, and the first decent snow of the year.

Very scenic.

Also steadily melting and treacherously icy!

Hope there isn't too much unwanted 'events' for traffic skating along the roads... Locally, last night there were a gritting wagon breakdown, another slewed off the road, a line of lorries became stuck on ice on the gentle slope of a slip road, and another lorry became trapped in a dip due to the wheels turning the fresh snow into ice.

All for the "wrong type" of snow? (Oooops, that's one for the UK railway!)

Stay safe folks!

It's certainly VERY bright here.
Watching the odd vehicle attempting to get up the slope past my house is "quite fun" - I'm just glad my car is well away from the road as I think there will be car on car contact before long :-(

My nephew seems to have Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma, at least that is what I was told a few minutes ago.

That's the weed spraying around the yard done yet again and the fog has gone to reveal a cloudless sky as the temp reaches a very muggy 21C (feels like 22C).

I'm now waiting on the grass to dry before getting into the mowing which I hope to get done before we reach an expected max of 29C.

Cheers.

What’s up Victor?

My nephew has cancer and I just killed a bug that I'd hoped was gone.

That's not good news about your nephew Vic. :-(

I'm not so sure about the bug though.

Cheers.

Thanks Mike and Wiggo. My nephew is 48 now, I wish him good luck.

The only bug exterminator who comes out here is Terminix, for the moment small measures will have to do.
