PC with Windows 10 (up to date)
My credit has been the same for months at 2214. Also, the average is shown as 0.81, hardly anything.
I leave my PC on, doing nothing I have asked it to do, for, sometimes, as much as eight or ten hours a day.
I would have hoped to have contributed more than 0.81.
Is there some easy way to check what is at issue and do something about it, or is my machine just not suitable and I might as well stop supporting this?
But that would be a disappointment to me.

Also, when I come in to the study after leaving it a while the screen shows "No Running Tasks, Computer in use". It doesn't make it clear is the task is mine or BOINCs or who the computer is in use for. How do you find out what this message means?

Thank you, that explains why.
I don't think I had received any indication of this though.
Thanks for your help.
