Now if this is true then I'm totally flabbergasted as we've been doing regular sewage sampling at all of our treatment plants here since the HIV days. :-O Sewage is the latest disease detection tool for Covid-19. It has come in handy a few times here for a variety of disease outbreaks. Even this little country village's water treatment plant sends off regular samples to be tested. |

Wastewater samples are collected regularly across the country and analysed for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Wastewater monitoring is part of monitoring systems to detect new COVID-19 outbreaks and support test and trace approaches. |

Can 1 be flabbergasted twice in 1 morning? Now if this is true then I'm totally flabbergasted as we've been doing regular sewage sampling at all of our treatment plants here since the HIV days. :-OBeen testing the sewage since early 2020 over here. Well sadly the answer would seem to be yes if you didn't have some sort of disease testing of wastewater before then. Australia and New Zealand have been doing regular sewage sampling at our treatment plants for many known infectious diseases since 1997 and the COVID component was added to the program back in early March of 2020 as soon as a test to detect it was produced. |

I don't know all the things they test for here or at what stage, but since we treat sewage the output the the treatment is tested. One would think they test the input to know how well it is working. And Covid testing was started as soon as testing was available. |

Can 1 be flabbergasted twice in 1 morning? Of course you may be flabbergasted as often as one feels compelled in that direction ;-) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Food for thought... Spick & Span (1962) ...has outsourcing damaged society to the point that epidemics/pandemics spread so fast? When it was in-house, it had firm oversight. Now... |

If Covid doesn't get you and antivaxer will. It goes without saying that they cry "medical tyranny" while supporting the former guy. The former guy that loved tyrants. That did some tyrannical things. That was on his way to realizing his tyrant dreams. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

Food for thought... We leave the K off on this side of the pond. Had the pandemic originated in the city of Spic 'n' Span headquarters, how would the rest of the world get Spic 'n' Span for several weeks for months? We need some level of decentralization, so that when one node fails, another might be able to pick up the slack. Just no Wolf 359, please.
